I wish they'd offer voluntary exit to all depts. Remember all that put in won't get selected for it. This would get older employees out of here. Leave more jobs open for the ones that need to stay. Just because it's offered in your area don't mean all will be selected for it. They can't let everyone leave that wants too or they would not have enough employees left. Sad but so true. If it's ever even offered to any area I'd be surprised. This place is all about sc--wing over it's employees. No pension for new hires is a better deal they can move jobs and roll it over no pension building tieing them here. Unfortunately SF doesn't contribute as much as a lot of employers. And our pension is not that great.

JPMorgan Chase to lay off 99 San Francisco workers
JPMorgan Chase, which reported $15 billion in profit last quarter, is cutting 99 jobs in San Francisco even as it expands its presence downtown.
The bank disclosed the layoffs in an Aug. 27 filing with the state of California.

Are they really wrapping up layoffs this week?
I feel so sorry for everyone who’s been let go. I truly hope they’ll land on their feet quickly, with better opportunities and a bit more luck on their side.
Whenever there’s a new strategy, there are always at least some cuts
It’s a no-brainer, really. I just hope cuts won’t be massive. Most of us need this job, no matter how little we like it or how underappreciated we feel.
Irish News ANI Layoffs article.

I could've swore this was posted. Seems the HR minions were busy at the behest of our great leader and his absolute horror at any bad publicity. Anyway we've that big day out next week with the lad for D:Ream to cheer us all up after all our friends and collegues have lost their jobs. Unlike their song I doubt "Things can only get better" for ANI.
NetSuite Layoffs Europe
When will layoffs start for NetSuite in Europe?
EMEA Layoffs
Any update on the layoffs in EMEA?
259 Layoffs - Times are tight
Last year Penny was compensated 29 Million Dollars. If each person laid off had total income of 100,000 including salary and benefits, the total cost is 25,900,000.
So if Penny took one for the team she would only made a paltry 3.1 million dollars. Granted, she wouldn't get out of bed for such a peasant salary, but in my fantasy land 259 families would be well taken care of and she would still make 12,500 a day, 62,500 a week and 250,000 a month.
Granted, never will I be in a situation where I get to pick between being elite wealthy, or just really rich. Amongst the many reasons is the fact that I could never sc--w over so many people in the pursuit of my own interests.
So often we are blinded by blind idealism that everything should be unlimited, greed is good, and that anyone who says otherwise is a Socialist. Im not that, but I am also not one that believes a handful of the lucky sp--m should make more than 259 well paid people.
We really need to start looking at the big picture instead of glorifying the people that are ra-ing and plundering cast resources for their own enrichment.
News flash, Penny doesn't, and never has given a f--- about you, me, or anyone. Penny cares about Penny's purse. Insane
What's worse?
The idea of being laid off, or being stuck at Nike in this culture and environment for years to come? There was a time when this would have been a no-brainer. Now, I honestly can’t tell which I dread more. If the job market were any better, I’d embrace layoffs in a second.
You have no idea how bad things are about to get
You think you’re working with a skeleton crew right now? Think again. They will cut everything beyond the bare bones and still try to cut more. There will be closures, position eliminations, layoffs, and everything you can imagine to minimize expenses, regardless of the impact on employees. You’ll be expected to do the work of five or six people and be happy about it. That’s private equity for you.
Will there be more cuts?
Tomorrow or next week?
Layoff hanging over me
So do people think it’s normal to just assume that you will be laid off any day you come in? When the new leaders come in they just clean house and bring in people. What kind of work gets done when people are worried all day?
Y'all who will be left behind...
Don't worry. Everything is gonna be normal, easy, smooth after layoffs, emotions, reorgs.
Hahahahahaha.
Enjoy the misery of tryin' to get anything done in the new situations. For many it will be demoralizing, depressing, and a kick in the teethies.
Those who get to leave are the winners.
Go read the post on State Farm layoffs, it will make you feel better.
State Farm here! Come over and read our posts about what this sh-t hole is doing to its people! Your CEO has set the pace/tone for all the other CEOs to fall in line! They attend the same meetings, talk to the same consultants and run in the same circles. I've been at SF 30 years and need a couple more to retire. If you happen to have SF insurance cancel that cr-p, it's too expensive, service su-ks and all you are doing is giving 10-15% of your premium to a SF Agent. I'm about to move all of my internet and cell away from AT&T after your CEO sent that letter to employees basically telling them we owe you absolutely nothing and we expect absolute conformance and loyalty to AT&T! Same sh-t hole people no matter where you work in corporate America.

More layoffs Thanksgiving 2025
It will be a cold November 2025.
Lay offs may be coming
I know this may be a bit of paranoia and this could genuinely be Mike reshuffling leadership, but with the stock not doing well and rumors of company cutting costs I think it's a bit of a hint that there may be lay offs soon.
Layoffs prior to Aug ‘25
How many people were let got in ‘24 and early ‘25 due to offshoring ?
More coming?
Any rumors about Division or District layoffs circulating? Catching word that they put a temporary hold on ASL transfers.
It is done
Mass layoffs at Echostar littleton due to the boost mobile shutdown. Learned a lot. Did a lot. No hard feelings. Couple months of pay. And looking forward to next chapter.
What departments will be affected the most?
13-15% will be laid off by November. What parts of Paramount will be cut the most? Curious as to what others are predicting. Best luck to all of you - some of the nicest and most talented people I've ever worked with.
Another Consultant Group
Sales teams and maybe others just got invited to do a job feedback assessment by a consultant firm called the Alexander Group. I highly doubt they're really looking to improve operational and sales efficiencies, nothing here seems to change for the better. I am positive they are contracting this waste of space company to cut the fat for more layoffs potentially like they did over 19 months ago. TU has over 12,000 employees and still needs to pay a consultant to tell them how we should be working lmaooo
Any thoughts? Layoffs next year?

Please share any information you know about ongoing layoffs within SO/JS org
CSG is prepping for a bloodbath
Jeff hates costs and his employees, and he's all out of cost cuts.
Sam Burd is 100% sidelined, only kept on salary so he won't bolt for Lenovo or HPE.
Rumors are Jeff and cronies are laying out a massive downscale and will hit in Q1.
Layoffs after MOS to Fusion migration?
I’ve been hearing rumors there will be a huge layoff after the migration to Fusion of all the people who are working this project. Anyone else hear this?
Don't take today for granted
It’s been six weeks since the July purge, and the fallout is still being felt. The job market is brutal, even highly qualified people are struggling to get a single response.
Inside T. Rowe, the situation is even worse: leadership incompetence, suffocating micromanagement, and a relentless push to offshore jobs have left current employees on edge. The once-respected name of T. Rowe is crumbling, and morale is in freefall.
If you’re still there, don’t wait around and protect yourself before you’re the next one cut.

LIED TO AGAIN!!!
259 ISP’s. Not exactly the “100” ISP’s they told us to expect. For those who said yeah but they said it would be 100 “roles”. BS. That was just corporate speak to disguise the real numbers. If they are so transparent, how come they didn’t publish the number of demotions??? From this thread, it seems like there have been quite a few… Yet another way to disguise the numbers.
It’s happening again…
I just got my call. Watch the street!
Severance Trigger Rules?
Do FTEs get severance if they’re laid off while on a PIP or Warning?
258+259=517!!!
258 roles closed from vsp and 259 got isp
I'm not a math genius but that's 517. Six months of me in panic wondering how both me and my wife who worked here until she just found a new role would pan out to feed 3 kids for 517 roles??????
This place is ran by id--ts.
Sad reality
It's not the tariff situation at all. I've been looking at jobs for almost 2 years now because I knew this huge reorg was coming. The job market in US has cratered unless you're in a very highly specialized technical field such as AI, niche engineering. I am on the business side of things and you can get offers but they're few and far between. I applied for hundreds of jobs and got only like 3 interviews and a couple offers, lower than Chevron comp.
My SO in finance got laid off in 2022 and same problem tons of applications zero response. Finally got something at much lower pay.
The job market has fundamentally shifted and it;s been this way since at least 2021-2022. Offshoring is rampant. Americans are selling themselves out every single day. It's truly insane.
Bumping this from @ax+1k3nwm9t5, sad but true.
Got calendar invite for town hall 9/16…
Does this mean layoffs are completed for Mike Sicilia’s org or could we possible have more layoffs until town hall?
For those who want to be RIF'd
Volunteering won't do it. The defiant nature of the leaders here will just give you more work, laugh at you struggle, and will try to make you quit.
You have to put yourself on the chopping block by simply reporting your manager to Employee Relations. They will take the side of your supervisor, BUT you are a target now. A person who doesn't go with the flow, and can potentially expose them. Therefore, becoming a financiql liability and a source to empower others.
I guarantee you will be on the next list.
E2E
This is the next meeting where they talk about the new portfolio model and yet, there is no info on what the structure will actually be. Will we be notified only on 9/3 if our leaders were let go?? The layoffs on 9/3 and the portfolio model must surely be the same thing?
