Sad to hear about the layoffs in the AGI division. It's always difficult to see talented people impacted, especially in teams working on such ambitious and important problems. Does anyone have a sense of approximately how many people were affected?


Lay Everyone Off

Is what they should do based on the service level these days. Not a single order is correct. No supervision in the warehouses. No quality checks. Record number of returned items for the wrong product. Amazon is going downhill fast.

Amazon will lay off 2,198 workers in Washington state. Most affected employees are in Seattle and Bellevue. These cuts primarily impact corporate tech roles. Separations are scheduled from April to June 2026.
