Anyone impacted in product quality engineering pqe?

First, my thoughts for everyone impacted. Very hard to lose so many brilliant teammates.

Everyone is saying this company is a sinking ship but is it really worse than searching for a job in this competative market?

Recognize that better days are ahead and you'll eventually be happier and more productive than you've been before. It took me 6 months of looking half-time. But, my new situation is better in every respect. I wouldn't have made it to this better place, if they hadn't kick me out.

MDC Mexico Development Center in Guadalajara was impacted today, early in the morning some teams have been impacted, notice was in zoom calls scheduled at 9am.

Take some time off, don’t immediately jump into a job search. Go spend time with family and friends. Take that trip you talked about but never took. Enjoy the freedom. There are better jobs and companies out there, a layoff from Oracle will be a blessing in disguise.

From what I’m told goal is 10% low performers pipped and out in December then a massive spring 27 action with impacted people roles and teams id’d as early as next week. If you’re not blocking time to job search weekly you’re doing yourself no favors .

which teams do we hope are impacted

Seeing various posts on linked in about more UKG layoffs this week, do we know if these are all US layoffs and teams impacted?

I have confirmation sales was laid off, obviously from someone in sales, and I have access to tables confirming it. This is going to be a long, slow roll, folks. We shouldn’t panic. This is likely a BU at a time.

Does anyone know which departments have already been impacted or might be impacted? I've been hearing a lot of rumors, and it doesn't sound good. Has anyone heard anything?

Looks like some in Card, areas of second line and cyber were impacted

Having not heard any other updates regarding upcoming layoffs--whether they are even happening or not is causing a tremendous amount of anxiety. It is impacting everything for me. I know this may sound cliche, but it feels very much unfair to not give any information for this amount of time. Its so hard to focus on anything other than trying to figure out what to do next but doing so without any additional information is difficult. I know others are probably feeling the same but I am tired of being told to just "not stress". Hopefully, others will comment so I can at least feel like I am not alone. Sending positive energy to everyone impacted. Any tips/advice very much appreciated.

Layoffs in India and US August first week. Many teams in ISG impacted.

How many were impacted in total?

It has been confirmed that there have been some RIFs completed today. Unsure of how many people were affected or departments. Anyone have any more information?

Anyone know what that seems to imply? Europe cannot account for 45%??

I wish people would stop parroting the "impacted" euphemism. It's either "laid off" or "fired". Not even "RIF", because that implies that the job is gone. The job is never gone, it's just done by someone else that remains.

Several have been communicated to today. The rest in the morning. Any word on what groups are impacted?

If you’re a Band 6 people leader in the CXO, you’re impacted. About 90% of Band 5 is impacted and already informed on Monday.

At this rate, I don’t have much hope for individual contributors. I also don’t know what Tanya is going to do with her VP, Digital Channels title.

Senior folks like Director level people like SMEs including engineering Prod owners were let go - this Friday is last day.

Impacted Band 5 leaders were notified today. Anyone heard any particular department being hit?

Heard that latoffs hit the Augusta office today in Comp Services. Waiting for confirmation.

Professional Services got severely impacted in March. Do we know what’s the count this time?
Also, what product lines?

If you are impacted it would help to understand the BU, team or even location. The company is too big to try and figure what jobs are impacted this time around.
