Why does “OP” have so many post on this site?

Who is OP really and how does this person have so much time to make all these post? OP are you HR? Just trying to understand if you are connected or just pulling straw from the air and hope that it catches! Do you really have insight on upcoming layoffs?

“New organizational structure” meeting on 8/12

Just got an all staff meeting invite for 8/12 titled “new organizational structure” with absolutely zero context. I’m just waiting out my VSP end date so I’m good with whatever happens but I would be spiraling so hard if that wasn’t the case.

Any other health plans getting similar meeting scheduled? I’m wondering if the 12th is “the day” for layoffs everywhere or just in my state.

How to know your being let go..

In the old days the first sign you were about to get a call from HR was not being able to log into your computer.
If that is still the signal then everyone in aero is on the chopping block.
The number of access issues and the rumors, workarounds, and tin foil hat superstitions about getting to any random IT run resource is unbelievable. I would suspect an attack but that fails the “simplest logical cause” test…. Incompetence

I guess the way to know you are about to be fired is to look at your department. Honaero IT? Pack up.

Business as usual…

“Carry on, work hard, and keep our numbers strong!” I guess that’s really all we can do right now but how do they expect us to focus? We have various team members with different separation dates. Leadership has said they’re sharing information as they receive it, but honestly, there hasn’t been much to share...

We still haven’t heard whether the rumored layoffs are moving forward or which departments or roles might be affected first. Like many other teams, our department depends heavily on work coming from the clinical teams, and it’s hard to know how many of those employees accepted the VSP. Until we have more clarity, I guess we just plug along?

5 Days a week

Haha. I knew it was coming.

They just said anticipate 5 days a week in the home office connect when someone asked if they are gonna go back to two days at home. They said “nope. Actually we anticipate five days a week…”

TOLD YA SOOOOOOOO.

HBAs are gonna be gone next, regular and medical.

BET!

IF ANYONE HAS INFO ON THE INVOLUNTARY LAYOFF PLEASE SHARE HERE

I feel like the company is just committing psychological warfare at this point. I called HR this morning, and they said the HR department is not informed at all about involuntary layoffs. This whole process from upper "management" goes beyond unprofessional. Sarah London stated that there would be layoffs in the first week of August. I am now hearing that the date is changing or that most people, including PLs don't even know what is going on. I get having to wait for VSP results, but if the fu--ing ceo says layoffs are a certain date, I would hope they would honor that statement. I'm just so stressed and over all of this bullsh-t.

Elimination List

I have no proof, but I have a feeling those who were approved to leave on 9/4 were already going to get cut.

I have seen many posts with people upset (understandably so), that their separation dates are in 2027. my guess is those in the later groups have positions that were not going to get cut. they have been deemed essential. I do not believe these people will be a part of a future layoff.

it does look like those in certain functions were given later dates?

Commercial gone wild

Steve On The Spot returns from the World Cup after another successful display of cameras, travel, and self-promotion. Hopefully, the next appearance brings a little more leadership and a little less performance, especially as employees face the uncertainty of possible layoffs.

EOQ on Friday

What do you think is going to happen?

With a company that is so anti employee, with literally NO regard for tenure, loyalty, performance...should we expect any transparency at all?

Managers are complicit basically just trying to assure their salary continues.

Does Dell need to be investigated for violations in their termination process?
