Vacation payout

When One gets laid off or fired, they receive their PTO… Is this PTO taxed just like regular income or do they apply a special kind of tax, such as like they do with bonuses… Or, better yet, do they apply no tax?


Mid Year Reviews?

Are these happening? Saw a post recently that said they were not. It’s May 1 and my manager has not said anything about my team’s mid year review either. Nothing to document in workday either. No one on my team knows what’s going on.

Severance Payout In One Lump Sum

Has anyone taken the severance payout in one lump sum? If so what does it look like for taxes being taken? Its been said they tax that at a much higher rate than if you did just the regular two week pay.
