Recent Town Hall someone asked about more layoffs and the answer was clear - Enbridge isn’t doing any more mass layoffs. So they told us what we want to hear but they are just playing games. They are doing micro layoffs instead and just keeping quiet about it.

Oh yeah that’s gonna be well attended. What a joke. We know which country is their favorite.

At the town hall mtg, there was a slido question about HBA relocation. What was the outcome of the recent survey? Any plans requiring associates to move to St Louis? They didn’t get to that question. If anyone has inside scoop, please share.

Today they posted a link to the town hall recording. I missed the event so I was looking forward to watching.
Watched the entire recording but it was only 38 minutes long for an hour long call!
They deleted the Q&A!!!!
Talk about a lack of trust that I will ever have that they will accurately provide recordings.

Same day as the town hall, get a call saying how remote workers are getting laid off and their work is moving to India. Probably one of the many rounds of this. How much will need to be offshored before they take US out of the name?

What is going on? We got the email about George Dyer with the town hall next week, but we just got a meeting invite from our L5 named 'quick update'. I've sat through countless calls that were named this because folks were laid off. Anyone know anything?

Is this the most tone deaf, worthless, let them eat cake townhall this company has ever had to date? I think so...

The fact that she can get on an all-company townhall and just blatantly lie is wild. My faith in this company has fallen so far that I no longer even trust USB to manage my money. Have been transferring my and my parents accounts to other institutions. This townhall just strongly confirmed that decision.

Although I have my doubts because the stars and planets have to align first before execs even think about providing answers. Maybe just maybe the tone deaf executives will take questions from the audience. Or maybe they won’t and the questions are already screened days in advance.

How does the business justify forcing an employee to travel upwards of 100 minutes each way all week long when said employee was hired as a remote employee?

How does the business justify a microscopic raise of 1.25% when the RTO mandate has cost me $2000+ per month in commute, daycare costs and hours away from my family? Additionally how does the business justify a 30% compensation increase for the CEO when his own workers are struggling?

How do I save for retirement when I have to reduce or eliminate my contributions just to pay for this RTO lifestyle?

As a female I feel unsafe every time I step foot in town. How does the business justify making decisions behind the safety of executive security to force thousands of employees into downtown Pittsburgh when there have been two homic--es within a block or two or the headquarters. Plus rampant crime, open air dr-g use, bus stop fights, unpredictable homeless, human fe_ces along the sidewalk. Crime happens but there hasn’t been a single chirp regarding safety.

Appreciation week…sigh. What did you win? Reminds me when I was awarded - I mean earned a PNC branded ballpoint pen for my 5th anniversary. Yes I got a pen for 5 years of work.

Lastly, where is the data? The business shills this idea that RTO is to foster innovation and a more inclusive workplace. But after 2+ months I have witnessed the exact opposite. My senior developers left for better jobs. There is no innovation. Just loud obnoxious chatter because everyone is on Teams calls therefore proving everyone is remote with respect to everyone else. We will occasionally push or cancel standup because some team members are caught in traffic. We never canceled standup while we were all WFH. Our progress has slowed, our results are turning sour and our team morale is living at rock bottom.

So why wouldn't we be notified of the people leaving or changes in leadership if we work in PHCO? Also I don't have a town hall marked in my calendar for the 29th either..is this corporate or specific PHCO departments?

Got email saying all UK employees will move under Ansys instead of Synopsys NE. Town hall this week. Fingers crossed!

Another shared energy town hall is coming up. Will they remotely mention the employee survey and how miserable everyone is right now?

Proposed cuts threaten essential town services, including the public library and park and recreation programs. The library faces a 50% budget reduction, jeopardizing payroll, utilities, and programming. Park and Recreation's budget has been significantly reduced, impacting summer camps and swim lessons. The town pool may close, and summer camp could be canceled or shortened.

Got an email for the EBOS town hall meeting on July 22. I suppose this is the day when my teammates and I will find out just how little we're needed, yeah?

Thoughts on anyone who just attended the town hall? What a load of BS. I am sure all the staff on the call appreciated the UM Tech slide and AI taking over their jobs. Questions in the chat on VSP, were responded with VSP is not part of this presentation, we have no further updates to share, appreciate this is a stressful time and the VSP decision is a personal one. Basam and team could not be anymore disrespectful. So disingenuous to your valued employees. Disgraceful!!!

What was the town hall all about? They told us it was important but then didn't allow us to go to it. Did I miss anything or was it just more nonsense?

Just received an invite for tomorrow morning, 55minutes long. Sent to 'ETIPS_ALL_FTEs', only tidbit is "Please join the leadership team for an update on our future operating model and strategy". Whatever that means?

Where we get to January 2027 and John hosts a Townhall where he exclaims to the small crowd of Simple Jeff Oompa Loompas...

"You've won! You did it! You did it! I knew you would! I just knew you would! Oh, forgive me for putting you through this. Please, forgive me."

And then the room turns into an elevator that shoots out of the top of the building and sores above downtown Dallas as it heads to the future site of the Plano HQ.

Leadership has been sworn to secrecy for that reason alone. It is a big number and it will get a lot of press in Milwaukee. Extravagant north building rebuild. Eating a massive loss on Franklin. Mckinsie is leading the way. All while collecting massive consulting fees.

Long-time reader, first-time posting. I was planning to post yesterday only, but I just came back from travel.

After yesterday’s town hall, I am still having many questions. It answered many things, but not the questions most people were actually asking. There were plenty of buzzwords and positive statements, but not much real clarity.

I am still not understanding the Alderon split properly. What will remain with IBM? What will move to Alderon? On what basis these decisions are being taken? Even after the town hall, I don’t have a better understanding.

Also, it looked like the usual favorites are getting special treatment. From what I could understand, many of those people will remain with IBM, while everyone else is still not knowing what will happen with their future. Maybe there are valid reasons behind these decisions, but they were not explained clearly.

Just wanted to know what others are thinking. Did this town hall give you more confidence, or did it leave you with even more questions? Are you feeling more secure about your job after listening to it? Interested to hear everyone’s thoughts and opinions
