Seeing sudden manager calibrations and stack-ranking across ESG. Word is that notifications are hitting the first Wednesday of October to kick off Q4. Anyone else seeing this behavior or heard anything concrete from leadership?

Does anyone know the next notification date? RIFs are part of quarterly cadence at Centene. Last one was late because of VSP. When is next one planned?

I'm curious if US layoffs are still ongoing this week but at a smaller scale than they were on Monday. I ask cause I know people who got RSU vesting notices for the 15th 3 days before vesting, but have not gotten notices for other upcoming RSU vesting dates. Makes me wonder if that is an indicator of further layoffs?

It started with 5 AM emails. No manager notification. Several people ranging from Ic2 to M5 gone. Time will tell how many by end of the day.

I did not see the email of the RIf until about 8 hours later EST when I was able to access my work email just one last time, and there was an email sent at 6:01 AM. There, in that email, there is a link that you click to verify your personal email address along with your name and work email.

After that, I was not able to connect to work email. So if you haven't tried to reconnect into your work email, try again and you will see an email that says: Immediate Action Required.

The assumptioin is you will get documentation for severance and anything else in the coming weeks. I heard within 2 weeks give or take if not sooner.

I noticed that a few people had slack accounts deactivated this morning.

didnt see impacted persons from idc , mexico , europe , canada , australia , any idea when it will start , i know idc should be tomorow , US and canada usually the same day ..
our org i see multiple m3-m5 disabled all from US

I work in HR and I'm going on the record to anonymously confirm with everyone that 6am emails will be sent starting in the US. I work with a team in California overseeing the layoff process. Approximately 17,000 employees will be impacted globally. Please be aware that a follow up email will be sent to your personal email address on file. And if you haven't updated this email correctly and do not respond to the email sent, you will receive a letter in the mail with 2 weeks after being locked out. Also be aware you are still on the hook for Oracle equipment that must be returned to Oracle.

FYI- I received an email around 5pm with the following info:

Due to an error in Workday, your severance documents were not pushed to you as intended. Therefore, we have moved to process your severance benefits manually. Please note that you will not be able to sign your agreement in Workday due to this error. We will need you to either print, sign and scan the document to be emailed back to us, or use any electronic signature application to sign it instead.

For mass layoffs in departments, for this round do they have the manager come talk to you one by one or will everyone get an email and meeting invite since it will be so many meetings?

I applied last week and received an email saying that my manager was going to be notified within 24 hours for 'transparency'. I havent even spoken to the recruiter yet. Is this a new thing now? I had applied before and never received this email before.

How is FIS getting around filing WARN notices in states with all these rounds of layoffs? I know there're legal issues in Washington state after layoffs last year but I am amazed that no WARN notices have been filed this year (Wisconsin). It seems the March & June layoffs should met the requirements for a state notification. Anyone know more about how they are getting around this?

I keep seeing people say that 10/8 is a confirmed layoff date and that folks would get a 30 day notification if they’re impacted. Isn’t it a 60 day requirement?

I’m in the US and new at PayPal. What is the process followed by HR? Does the person affected being laid off get the meeting invite? How does the rest of the team or manager find out who has been let go from their team?

I have heard from several sources that 4,000 employees are being let go on Monday. Take it with a grain of salt because this is all a game of telephone

Are we now officially done with involuntary layoffs for a while? I can't figure out how many people were notified so far and if there are more notifications waiting for some future date.

They suddenly deactivated my account without anyone warning me. I was working on an important project and have a delivery next month. I know there are various layoffs happening in Europe, but usually they warn you before canceling your account. Has this happened to anyone else here? I don't understand if it's a mistake or a layoff.

Milwaukee Public Schools has informed 201 employees that their positions will be eliminated at the conclusion of the current academic year. This action is a direct result of approved budget cuts aimed at reducing overall staffing. The layoffs are part of a broader plan to eliminate approximately 260 jobs within the district. These reductions were formally approved by the Milwaukee School Board earlier in March. The affected employees received official notification on March 24.
