Some earlier posts said they got pay a couple of days before 09/17 termination day. What about 09/21 termination wave? Did anyone already get paycheck?

Can we stay on insurance for 6-12 months after the termination date? Is this negotiable with HR?

Aramark will lay off 69 employees due to losing a food service contract with Boeing. The company learned it would not be retained for services at Boeing sites beyond November 16, 2026. This will result in the permanent termination of employment for these workers. The affected positions include management, administrative support, cooks, chefs, and supervisors. Aramark stated that many of these employees may find new employment with the incoming food service provider.

I’m currently on approved medical leave and still an employee, but my employment is ending in October 2026.
Since Wells Fargo pays the 401(k) match as a lump sum at year-end and usually requires you to be employed on December 15:
Will an October termination forfeit my entire 2026 match?
Are there exceptions to the Dec 15 rule for medical leave or involuntary termination/severance?
Has anyone in a similar situation received a prorated payout or offset?

Sparhawk has announced the complete closure of its Wisconsin Rapids business. The company was unable to secure a buyer during its bankruptcy proceedings. This decision will result in the termination of all employees. Layoffs commenced this week as the closure process began. The business will no longer operate.

Remember, once you sign your termination notice Monday and release all claims against Oracle, you are eligible for Unemployment. For some states that benefit is worth $1000/wk or more for 9+ months. Filing and approval generally take 2-3 weeks so get the ball rolling asap.

Does anyone have contact info for the BYOD termination lawsuit? Apparently a few people gathered some solid evidence that they were singled out and targeted. I left the company back in January and would love to provide witness testimony in the lawsuit. I can prove that most store employees and managers participated in the same very thing that a few select were terminated for.

Did anyone who took the VSP and separated 9/4, get to log in to Workday and it says Terminated?!? Is this normal? Should I be worried about receiving my VSP?

My wife, who worked remotely for another telecom, woke up a few months ago to find all her access revoked before she even saw the termination email. She got no warning, and they certainly didn't bother with a conversation. Just an early morning cold email and silence. Even Verizon isn't that much of an a--hole.

Just wanted to check on the timing. If the system sends the email out at 6:00 AM local time in North America, does that mean the team in India will get their termination emails about 2 hours and 30 minutes later, around 8:30 PM EST tonight?

Bristol Myers Squibb has ended its alliance with Cellares due to unmet manufacturing requirements for its CAR T-cell therapy, Breyanzi. They suddenly deactivated my account without anyone warning me. I was working on an important project and have a delivery next month. I know there are various layoffs happening in Europe, but usually they warn you before canceling your account. Has this happened to anyone else here? If you got 8 weeks notice was your severance package 18 months less 8 weeks?

Is anyone getting longer formal notice? Did anyone get like 6 months formal notice so that severance was significantly reduced ? (18 months, less 6 months ?)

The leader of our team just disappeared, no good bye email, no thanks for all the hard work, nothing. Just gone. Her linkedin does not show Insight as her employer anymore, it did just last week. Tried to send an email last week and it just went into a black hole, or where ever her emails are now forwarded to. I think from reading other posts on here that she was terminated, no early retirement, just role eliminated I guess. Seems to be the main tactic used to put people out to pasture. Whack-ATTACK-Jack sure is making his markie mark. I'm not sure it's leadership being demonstrated here, just desperation to get the numbers in line to get a bonus and sure is devoid of any real strategy.

Wondering what might happen to the 10% that were placed in bottom ranking group. Will they automatically get terminated? Will they get severance? In most cases placement was probably due to performance but have heard of a few cases where managers made false accusations to force placement in the bottom and satisfy the newly established quota.

Is it normal to be terminated with just supervisor and manager/boss on the call? No HR.?

Our agency missed 7 months in rolling 12, is the following statement from a previous post accurate?

"Agents that miss 7 months out of a moving 12 month measurement will get a 90 day terminaton notice in the 8th month."

Sooo I have been on a STD Leave of Abscence just got a random email that my workday etc all terminated ... i got notification about spectrum reach all of that.. sooo what the heck did i get let go?

I almost hate to ask, but in my defense, they keep changing the rules —and so I’m not quite sure where things are… here goes: they used to say that if you did not get a call by 9:00 am local time, you had another 2 weeks; has that changed? And confirm that terminations can be any time during any day of the week.
