Office Closures Next?
Cuts in Engineering, and now office closures?
Austin, LA, and now Charlotte. What is happening in this company?
Layoffs and office closures are not the best signs for a “growth” company despite how CEO frames it.
The message should come from ELT/CEO …not head of facility/office manager.
Wilmington office to close June 2027
Just got notified
Next office closures?
Does anyone have legit intel on what locations will be included on the next round of office closures?
Office closing, filling boxes
My office location is being shuttered and staff are being transitioned to a “nearby” city based office location. I am an associate type with an analytical desk job and now I’m being asked to move and fill dozens, upon dozens, upon dozens of boxes of paper documnts for long-term storage and/or transfer to new office location. I don’t think I could physically do it but I’m being pressured to fill these boxes along with my small team. I don’t think this was ever in job description. Comp. not hiring moving staff to do this work. what should I do?
Cerritos and Tustin Closing
Meeting were held with the general manager, members and union to discuss the closing of call centers in Tustin CA and Cerritos CA. Management said they will consolidate both offices into a new office space. They are pushing propellor out of the business. The union hasn’t sent out a single message to its dues payers. We really don’t know what the union does here except sit in meetings and say nothing.
Tulsa people (and other office closure survivors)
What does it look like for these teams? Tulsa specifically. A layoff 6 weeks after your office closes is naturally pretty scary
Long term plan: Lake Mary shutting down
This is 100% happening. Put your house up for sell if you are in Lake Mary. Leadership knows that what’s been happening in Lake Mary has helped lead to Verizon’s downfall.
Vacating Jersey City location EOY
Morgan Stanley is vacating Jersey City location by EOY. Does anyone have more information?
New CPO at F5
F5 just appointed a new CPO who was in charge at Wayfair, a company who said employees are like paperclips and has had dozens of layoffs, US office closures in just a couple years.
I wonder what F5 is prepping for...
Is Melville really closing?
I overheard some people talking in a conference room last week but I don’t know if this is true or false
HUB closing
Glendora HUB is closing. Its last day of operation will be July 17. People were assigned to a centralized group location rather than the one closest to them.
Office closing?
Just heard the Bellevue and Portland offices are being closed at the end of July? Any other offices affected or just those two?
Chicago
Heard the Chicago office was shutting down and some people were fired, offered severance or told to move to Plano or DC. Any confirmation?
Kabam Closes LA Office, Cuts Jobs
Kabam is consolidating its Los Angeles office. This action has resulted in an unknown number of layoffs. A company spokesperson confirmed the office consolidation. They declined to comment on the specific job cuts. Kabam cited strategic priorities and streamlining operations for the change.

Under Armour Closes Portland Office, Relocates Roles
Under Armour is closing its current office in Portland, Oregon. Some functions will move to its Baltimore headquarters. Other roles will relocate to New York or a new Portland location. AT&T WFH is not safe... wait for it
AT&T has offered some employees option to WFH instead of surplus/severance. They want them out of wasted real estate space before the end of the 2nd quarter. Most of the location had few if any personnel. The largest was a center in GA of about 100 collection agents.
Regional offices Ireland
Was BNY right to close it's two regional offices in Ireland ? Have services improved
Heard Kansas City office got notified closing today. Both management and Occupational
Any truth to that?
UA closing Portland office
11/1 last day with some given option to keep their positions based in Baltimore. Another misstep for a brand once on fire.
It’s official! General Affairs In Salt Lake Unannounced
GA showed up to the Salt Lake this week while many of the long term team were out of the office. Why were they taking pictures and counting desks? Are they on a mission to shut down the office??? There are now 25+ open seats with 5 remaining people in the location, so one cannot expect that they are looking to keep the doors open. Did not the branch have several physical security issues earlier this year? Did not zone and regional leaders visit the site just last week in an attempt to settle the team down in the wake of another long term leadership departure? What’s happening to our company?
Voluntary Resignation
Now that Uniondale is gone and we're all forced to commute to NYC, who here has been through a voluntary resignation? I'm curious what the process will be. Bc, I'm not voluntarily resigning. You're moving my office. You're forcing me out due to my own personal reasons why I cannot commute to NYC.
Biggest Mistake
Personally, Cameron bringing in McKinsey will be his legacy and what he will be remembered for.
Someone got into his ear and he took some bad decisions.
Things feel different. Way more now since the WP closure.
Something feels very odd with WP folks. The upper management level seems fake and really trying to cover up something.
It’s just bad times right now.
Maybe someone with ba--s that reads this site can walk into Cameron’s office and bring him to reality of how things are. Well, I can at least pray!
Intuit Cuts 3,000 Jobs Amid AI Strategy Shift
Intuit announced significant layoffs affecting 3,000 employees. This represents 17% of the company's global workforce. The company attributes these cuts to an AI pivot and restructuring efforts. Offices in Reno, Nevada, and Woodland Hills, California, will close. Intuit also signed multi-year AI agreements with Anthropic and OpenAI.

Midland Office
By the looks of the Midland office, the mothership is going to be shutting it down soon. No one‘s ever there they’ve closed the whole floor and the other ones are maybe 50% full. It’s only a matter of time before they start leasing out one of the towers. If I were one of the employees there, I would start looking at other competitors that value people close to the wellhead.
Ai leadership panel mentioning layoffs
Did anyone else catch the call this morning talking about locations being closed (context seemed to apply to store and offices). They said they are creating ai gems to define profitability and determine if neighboring locations would absorb customers.
Bloomington closure
Planning is underway at this time for first quarter closing of the Bloomington Minnesota center and building.
More building closures?
I heard there was more phases after the first one. Any truth to this and what buildings?
Quincy office.
Can anyone confirm if the Quincy office is indeed closed, and all the employees that were retained are now working from home? Also, was the requirement to live within a certain number of miles from an office removed as well?
BCBS NM
Building on Alexander is closing June 15, 2026. All but a few are WFH with a handful going to HQ. Is this a simple move, shift or is there layoffs headed our way?
150 E 42nd Lease is up this year
Aren’t we supposed to be moved by end of year? Or are we all Getting canned?
Denver
Are there any IT folks left in Denver? We were told the DTC office would shut down and to work downtown instead, but then it started raining axes.
Office closure
Anyone negatively impacted by office closures? What is your management saying? Feel like they are preparing for something with all of this unprompted change
Corp locations
It seems most building offices are constrained for space and with the recent return to office, it has made hiring in locations almost impossible. Are they going to open up new buildings are get leases for locations constrained?
PTC office closed
As expected from previous communication
Does State Farm have ANY regional offices anymore?
I retired in 2018. At that time they were closing a handful of the regional offices and transitioning to the hubs. I haven't kept up with the effort to close the regions. Does the farm still have any at all?
HUB
They’re closing the HUB closest to my home. Is this happening in other areas too? I wonder if it’s because employees weren’t showing up.
We’re closing offices but wait a new RTO scheme
Makes no sense.
GT RTO?
Seems pretty obvious that the tech center in ATL is going to be shut down this round. But what about other remote roles in GT? Are they over? Most of my team is in NY
