No involuntary layoffs before September?

s 30 day notice enforceable for lead software engineer in Wilmington, Delaware? What happens if I don’t give 30 day notice? Would become ineligible for rehire?

• Wellstar stated that exactly 761 employees from the corporate and shared services functions, and certain administrative roles, will be laid off.
• This round of layoffs will not affect any frontline medical workers.
• The company did not specify exactly when the layoffs would go into effect.

The company needs to change everyone who was approved to 9/4/2026. This is what was told to us from day 1!!

Can layoffs happen in a pay day week? I ask because there is a meeting for my group of about 80 people next week that is usually scheduled several weeks out. Instead, the invite showed up two business days before the meeting date. Upper management has already communicated a reduction in headcount due to the decline in workload. Curious if the meeting could be the layoff notification or maybe they are going to let us know when to expect the layoffs to begin? Do these Wells Fargo upper management folks typically give this kind of heads up?

I was hoping it would happen before the end of the month. I just want them to hurry up and make whatever decision they are going to make.

I'm not sure of the exact timing, but I am sure that there will be several more layoffs before the year is over. It's just a matter of when.

ANI here and just noticed roughly three months' pension contributions paid in at once. I've been here for years so my notice period would be three months.

No meeting with HR yet, but I won't be surprised if it pops up in the next few days.

How many years do you need to be here to get severance?

I don’t feel like giving any notice as this is definitely my last job. I pretty much already know the answer but I am curious about the responses: can’t I just quit with no notice? If I was in my twenties, accounting degree, “working on my master’s”, and knew I had decades to work with no social security and so forth, yes- give notice. But why me? ;)

If Vz Wireless is laying off 50 or more in NJ, and you are a New Jersey employee laid off on June 16 and were told your last day is in August, they are in violation of the law and they have to give you until September 14 which is 90 days from June 16th.

So why wouldn't we be notified of the people leaving or changes in leadership if we work in PHCO? Also I don't have a town hall marked in my calendar for the 29th either..is this corporate or specific PHCO departments?

When's severance supposed to be paid out?

A buyer in place for Estero building. 6 months til vacancy required. If you’re in the 2nd floor, get ready for pink slips soon. Some positions may get offers to relocate to Atlanta. The rest will be let go. Was a fun ride while it lasted. So long Florida!

How much notice do you give for resignation? Will they let you go immediately?
I want to give my manager notice but I’m afraid he’ll let me go immediately. How have you seen this handled? I am not seeking employment elsewhere.

I know there are still NGF doors. When are they expected to close or be notified of their official closure date? Are they going to make them wait until January again or are they deciding on a month to month basis?
