Salary raises really happened

So, I have confirmed it with multiple colleagues. Apparently in the last few weeks some of them indeed received salary raises, surprisingly nice ones. If you still haven't received, that means you have been skipped. What is weird - these raises do not follow any pattern, some best performers were skipped, some people who do not have "friends" in management granted, tenure also didn't matter. Seems almost random. I have no clue what this company is doing and it seems they also don't know it...

AWF - News ate EBAY

This week AWF people will be having meetings with managers starting today and letting them know that their jobs are ending. No notice just ending at the very moment of the meeting. Just be emotional prepared. It's just a sign of the times.

Be calm
Don’t react emotionally in the moment—even if it hits hard

The voluntary exodus

I've watched seven talented people quit in the last nine months. Another three are currently interviewing elsewhere. The company is bleeding experience every week. And yet they're still talking about another round of layoffs. At this rate, there won't be anyone left to fire.

Layoffs third week of May

Converge. Sales Kick Off in Vegas. But I am hearing that layoffs will be third week of May which makes no sense at all to fly people to Vegas and then lay them off. But...NetApp has done crazier things...

Any chance somebody knows more about this? Whether it's true or not, among other things?
