That’s what I’d like to know.
I was spared this time but I suspect it’s just a matter of time. Do I jump now or wait for a severance. Is it worth it?

@f7 how long were you with the company?
I was laid off four years ago, not long after they went private. I got almost 7 months of severance and kept my bonus that year. The only downside was the non-disparagement clause.
They also were really keen at the time to keep us from jumping to Reynolds or UCS.
In past severance has been nice , people
getting bonuses and tenure based severance. Not sure how is it now
