Have heard similar rumor with October timing
It makes sense, they need to prepare to try and save Oracle when OpenAI falters and cant pay for Stargate. Companies are complaining loudly about AI token cost even though it's still essentially free through the heavily subsidies from the all the VC money.
It's also becoming clear that companies will be running local AI on their own machines and not need all these hyperscalers. It's getting really ugly out there.
