The layoff news seems to be spreading rapidly now, it'd be great if we could all spam the All Hands meeting chat asking about the layoffs in the news opposed to asking about coffee.

She came off as a complete mo--n at the all-hands this morning. WTF is she tasked with?

Out of 30 or so AVP, VP, SVP on the org chart there is a single non-Indian. Just one. They talked for an hour mostly about AI with little specifics about the plan. Answered a QA about rebadging and gave a 3 minute non-answer.

I have pretty much walked all floors in both buildings in my location and know the parking situation (straight to the 4th floor if you arrive after 7:30) and they are 80% occupied. So, HR communicating about other regions full time RTO schedule coming later in the year is pure BS. Don't shoot the messenger, I am just reporting what I see on the ground.

I don't think there are so many phones per region (60% of total strength) that they'll be able to fit all of us. I don't see any construction or acquisition possible where we are located. So, just a lot of puffery tbh. Anyway, latest all hands for one of the BU's said the schedule is coming next week. So, I might be proven wrong in 2 days.

In the All Hands yesterday Niraj confirmed expansion of physical stores to the UK. They're actively seeking out their first location.

He also stated that they are committed to UK, Ireland and Canada with a strengthening market share in those regions.

Obviously there are no guarantees in business but it was a nice rebuke of that "Something Big Brewing" poster on 15th June.

I can't believe anyone is falling for the "I got notified today!!" bullsh-t. You literally saw a massive layoff in November.

Just a refresher - 15 minute meeting scheduled the morning of by your leader, over around 11, all hands for the survivors. No meeting invite goes out for the all hands, you just get a ping with the link (or at least that's how it went in my department).

Anyone who says they know they're getting laid off as early as today is a liar and nobody with any actual knowledge is going to post it here. You will know Thursday. Period.

After reading through the RMC business line thread, the upcoming Tech all staff call on Friday the 17th with its provide strategic updates and offer other important and timely news you need to know sounds ominous. They will probably give out the hubs that all remote employees will need to relocate into and talk about the second GCC coming up in Hyderabad. Anyone know anything?

I'm curious what type of communication was sent to employees about the exit and new CEO. Hopefully they have an all hands and give reassurance.

if the new guy schedules an all-hands this week And includes at least some assurances that he’ll treat us like actual human beings, there’s a chance he could be a good leader.
If he doesn’t, then he’s an axe man who wants to get rid of as many of us as possible

Just curious how many people are asking hard questions which don't get answered. I know I keep posting things, but since they are difficult, they aren't answered even if no other questions are out there and there is time to answer them.

We all know that NetApp gatekeeps questions, I'm just wondering how much.

Similarly with Survey's everything is always in the 70's 80's but looking through the comments shows a vastly different picture.

They have been pushing team members in the most recent all hands meetings to take their PTO and time off. I have never heard such a push for this from leaders. I have been with the company over 7 years now, and there’s never been mention of taking your PTO like this.

So, take your PTO NOW before you lose it to this transition.

A new RIF appears to be in the works. VPs and above are holding all-hands meetings with Samantha at The Ridge in mid-July. With the ongoing Frontier integration, major reorganizations are expected, along with anticipated RIF activity beginning in Q4. This is expected to be a significant shake-up affecting employees across all bands.

Please provide what was discussed. Not all Wellmed folks were invited . Managers are nowhere to be found and my whole team is having computer issues.

Anyone else finding their All Hands from Director, VPs, SVPs keep getting cancelled for this month? Getting a bit worried here. Fusion. Must mean a re-org or more layoffs given how often it’s happening.

Anyone else on this complete waste of time call wondering if they will ever actually address the REAL concerns were having... (ie job security, layoffs, etc)

Did anyone else notice this? The session went on for about an hour. The recording is 40 minutes long.

Noticeably missing: some of Hamid's comments about corporate taxes and how to best handle the $40 billion windfall from spectrum sales, Hamid's comments about how the "rich guys" benefit from certain tax practices, and most notably, that kind of joke question about whether we'd see any part of that sale in our 401Ks (and Hamid's response that he'd have to see it in his 401K first).

Did anyone else notice this, or am I going crazy? Did they actively edit out the more tone-deaf and uncomfortable parts of that session?

VP announced that all leaders now must RTO 4 days/wk. hasn't trickled down to ICs yet but we all know it's a matter of time. and if you have been remote and don't live anywhere near an office? tough luck, I guess that means you can no longer serve your job requirements and will be let go.

this makes no sense because it's not like our entire team will be in the same office anyway even if we went full RTO. we'll all just be in different offices across the country.
