This mandatory RTO is not exclusive

To Fidelity only, but are you all aware all the professionals in many huge multibillion dollar companies their employees are as pi---d off as we are for FT RTO?!. They have all stirred the hornets nest! No one is happy, if they successfully did their wfh massively productive employees have proven they can be trusted to wfh and be flexible with coming into an office. It just shows we are completely off their radar for loyalty or respect or for their MASSIVE PROFITS they’ve enjoyed. Maybe just maybe there’ll be infinitesimally small reductions in productivity by naturally being back in a distracting office and I hope they see an overall decline because of RTO. Nothing evil or malicious just a natural decline because being in a busy noisy office lends itself to more distractions. Be careful the powers that be you may be cutting off your nose to spite your face. WFH was a long planned situation and it worked fabulously well and they’re still unhappy with the workforce . Give the professional adults in your office the due respect they deserve. Allow flexibility.

Company wide layoffs 10%

Is there an announcement date for this or is the news just slowly spreading quietly through each org? I haven’t seen anything in the news, but I guess that’s better for our sagging stock price. Or maybe not, you’d think cutting the fat around here would be good news to investors.

Build a Rocket Boy Lays Off 170 Staff

Build a Rocket Boy recently laid off an undisclosed number of employees. Reports indicate 170 staff were affected, leaving around 80 remaining. This marks the third round of layoffs for the developer in the past year. Previous cuts included the closure of BARB France and 300 UK-based employees. The company is undertaking a "reset" for its game MindsEye after negative feedback.

Expense Management

Looks like Mother Mutual is not only downsizing its company vehicle fleet, but also its executive jets.

No more Challenger 600's.

Now its down to four Gulfstream GVII (no, that's not GV eleven, Ms Ilhan Omar).

Would you buy a Ford vehicle? Like=yes Dislike=no

Curiosity poll after reading the “Is anyone else pi---d that Ford is giving A plan to everyone?” Thread. I’d love to buy what I work on, but definitely an ignorance is bliss thing. I know what’s wrong or ongoing issues, so I wouldn’t choose or recommend certain vehicles to friends or family. As a buyer you don’t know otherwise unless told so.
Feel free to leave your reasons why yes or no.

Someone asked me recently if they should take a job at Exxon

I told them no, not unless truly desperate. The hours are long, the pressure is constant, and the company treats employees like they're disposable. Take a job here and expect to have no life outside of work. And to think that I used to recommend this place to people.

RTO

With more and more organizations going to 5-day RTO, I'd expect a mediocre, follow-the-herd company like Cigna to fall in lockstep within the foreseeable future.

Evanko's Town Hall comments about the wonders of having a "best friend at work" just seemed to be laying the foundation.

Anyone with educated guess and/or practical insight and willing to comment?
