Yes sir. After trying other opportunities and nothing clicking, I have decided to move for the company. I hope it will be a good one for the family, as we will get a lot of social life, good housing and better opportunities than where I stay. I still got 20 years to retire. So let’s see how it goes. Losing both my direct and skip level managers in a single layoff round I survived. Both were complete a--holes, so to say that was one of the best days of my life would be an understatement. Yes, there was a lot of confusion and issues until everything settled down, but it was worth it.

Severance for the July lay off just hit! I can oficially say I'm done with this place. Good luck to everyone still there! With the likes of Rebecca Grattan and all the other incompetent leaders you are going to need it.

This board always follow the same pattern: anxiety before the event, urgency during notifications, this is followed by anger, disappointment, uncertainty. Sometimes there is some relief afterwards.

Cannot change the beast. Oracle will Oracle, there will be layoffs again.

Count our blessings, enjoy your work if you can, if you cannot try to find something else. I've had it and I am looking around - this round sealed it for me.

I told my manager to put me on the list and here I am laid off. It’s time for a new start and I couldn’t be happier. They did sc--w us a bit on health coverage, it’s done in 3 days.

A few of my friends/ coworkers are leaving the company instead of relocating. I’m sad to lose great people. We did big things together and am close friends with many. I respect their choices and wish them well.
Hard to expect people to uproot their families when more layoffs in Houston are expected.
How many did not relocate? Is there %? Seems like a majority but may be my team.

And I couldn't be more grateful. That place is a disaster, and getting out was the push I needed to find something better. Being let go feels like a punishment when it happens, but with time you realize it's a gift. Go find something that doesn't drain you. You'll thank yourself later.

Finally and officially. After all these years of dedicated work, I leave with no recognition, no empathy, no real thank you, and not even an opportunity to say goodbye to my team or colleagues or people I knew. Just a simple, “We'll contact you with instructions to return your equipment” and a forced “thank you for your time with the company.” No goodbye. No ceremony. No acknowledgment of working ten years. Just a "log off and be done." WOW. I never imagined I'd be treated as insignificant as I was by management after giving so many years to this company. It honestly feels like they had been waiting for this moment and wanted me gone long ago. But you know what? I'm finally out. And that's what matters now. Overall the company has become more toxic and unpredictable. In retrospect, I'm glad I'm finally gone.

It's been a pleasure working with you all I had some great times and consider myself an overachiever but these last few months have drained all my energy. I wish everyone the best, specially those that stay behind. Over and out.

Just found out the upcoming Sept 15 layoff list for our team is being decided by the part-time, remote people manager after the recent reorg.

It just proves how toxic and out-of-touch leadership has become. This company has completely deteriorated and lost its way. Honestly, getting laid off might be a blessing in disguise at this point. It’s time to say goodbye to this place. Good luck to everyone on the 15th.

All people really care about is themselves, they asked the questions, but all they really wanted to know or hear was not me, not me(this time). However, what I found most disgusting was the thanking and emoji sending of hi---rs henchmen who were send out in force, it made me sick to my stomach tbh, to all the good people who left today I genuinely will miss you guys and I wish you well over the next few months.

Got laid off last week after 10 years of work.
My manager joined the regular 1x1 on Tuesday and started reading "the script" . After that, crickets.
My VP, with whom I worked for a number of years, didn't even acknowledge me. So much for all the late night calls and weekend escalations. Not even a private reply to a goodbye email. Meh.

Does anyone know how high up the chain the decision of if your VSP will be accepted or declined?? Is it Director or Higher?? I decided to take the offer and move on from the company. 10+ years and its time for me to walk away. No regrets..yes I will miss all my friends that are staying, but sometimes you just need to walk away. And no matter what you choose to do its the best decision either way. Good luck everyone
