When you read that we're going to have the worst year since 2022 you know we're about to see a correction. There are a few ways to achieve that, including canceling shows and laying people off. I think we'll see both, and it'll be a bloodbath. The golden days of Netflix are over.

We are all engineers here… do the math. 13+% NI is required, and when <5 years with Company, NI = MLRP. With two strikes and you’re out policy, no one will stay past 1 PIP cycle. Therefore, 0.87^5th = your chances of making it to the 5 year mark as a new hire (49.84%). Get ready for years of continued downsizing and churn. IExtrapolate further and near 0% will make it to retirement. But don’t worry, they value you and there is no better time for a career at ExxonMobil (at least that’s what they say).

It's fuzzy... It looks like this is a bigger layoff hit that's being coordinated across multiple locations and groups.... NYC, Tampa & Florence, KY... tech, COO- teams, fixed-income/trading... no clear headcount... unsure on other groups too. it's fuzzy and awkward but it seems to be fairly big?

And what’s the bets the next CEO js a downstreamer or Dan the Man who knows nothing about the business. Brother Darren and his merry man have cut the ba--s off the upstreamers. He needs to leave soon before he watches his empire crumble with the constant cost cutting and all of the real talent being displaced by India

I used to be proud to work for VZW. Everyone loved us. What happened? I see the downfall starting around the time Vodafone was bought out.

Now that we know it's started, what's being affected?

We used to be an American institution. Working here was a dream for many. Now, all we know are plant closures and layoffs. Those who can find something else are leaving in droves, and I can't even blame them. It's so sad to see an American icon fall so low in such a short time.

There are almost no upstream technical employees left. All being replaced by downstream. If you are heritage upstream technical your days are numbered. They are coming for you.

Wow, that is spectacular downfall. And I have heard from my retail sources that Hoka and On has slowed a lot.

This is perfect storm of economy, fatigue by consumers with same styles and lack of design direction in the industry.

For next round of upswing in the industry, the answer is TIME. And it might take a while and it might have to start level that way lower than now.
And in meantime, there could be a lot more pain including downsizing and layoffs etc.

Whoa, looks like Stripe just didn’t like what they saw. Now the next guy gets even cheaper. I wonder how long until Enrique gets fired? He was brought on to execute faster but he can’t even do layoffs timely. We’ve been talking for MONTHS layoffs.
