We used to have that. Can we go back to that time?

I'm only doing the bare minimum
Call me lazy if you want, but I'm not the one who reaches for layoffs every time expenses need to come down. There are a hundred ways to save money that don't involve cutting people. They just don't want to do the work to find them. I'm just returning the favor.
No favorites here
Some companies have favorite departments or favorite people. Not Oracle. They seem to genuinely dislike everyone equally. From the newest hire to the twenty year veteran. Nobody is safe from the bad treatment.
Can somebody explain this pattern to me?
I've been through a few layoff rounds now and I've started tracking who goes. The pattern makes no sense. Hard workers, people with great reviews, people who consistently deliver get cut. People who coast, who hide in meetings, who produce almost nothing stay. People usually explain it as being about salary. High performers have been here longer and make more, which make them targets, and the cheaper people survive. Which makes sense only if you disregard the fact that this sends a message not to be too good at your job. Just be average and cheap and you'll be safe. How is that kind of workforce good for the company?
Has this been confirmed?
10% this year company wide. 5% in June and 5% in October to stay below the warn notice. Next year gets even better at 15%. Have fun everybody!
Is this true?
Thank you Guru
You laid the foundation for Viasat's success over the past year. We may have tripped and fell a few times, but now we are up and running like Usain Bolt sprinting towards the gold medal. Viasat 3 Flight 2 is like a phoenix rising from the ashes. $100 per share is in sight, and maybe even $1000 per share is reachable. It's all possible due to your brilliant and visionary leadership. I raise my glass in honor of you.
Mmmm, So Now They Finally Want to Release 2025 Survey Results?
The company probably paid an additional surcharge to the consulting firm to heavily alter the results and put a positive spin on management perception.
Don’t believe the results to be shared.

Are we next?
Tulsa Finance Teams
Heard there were a lot of layoffs in Tulsa. Anyone know which teams?
We beat expectations and still over a thousand is being laid off
What needs to happen to prevent layoffs if good results won't do it? Do they really think AI will be able to replace human knowhow and experience? Why don't we get rid of the CEO and other leadership and replace them with AI? That would certainly save a lot of money.
July 2 off payroll?
Mid-week off payroll so they don't have to pay us for the holiday? Are they really that petty.
Is it over?
Any chance layoffs spill over into next week?
Most of you are embarrassing
I come on the site to see what people are writing and thinking. I think is hilarious how most of you just complain and some of you call MD and JC names and how they are id--ts. You do realize MD created a $100B company and he is one of the richest Individuals in the world and JC Is the COO who has made millions. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!
You guys are brave coming on this platform with no ideas, no solutions insulting individuals hiding behind your screen. If you are so miserable then quit. You know why you don’t leave, because you probably realize no one would want to hire you.
Stacy Rasgon - will work for food.
I want to see him double-down and go back to his $19 price target.
What’s EH been up to?
Haven’t heard a peep from him in quite some time - since the earnings call?
Global Head of Social Media
They hired for this yet laid off the most important people that had teams fall apart.
What even is this role?
When will ADM be sold?
Any updates on this topic? Also, are there any hints about potential buyers?! saw the earnings - ADM performed quite well.
Juneteenth
Are we going to have a schedule bid for Juneteenth like we had for Memorial day.
Just take the risk
At AT&T, I’ve learned that sustained success is rarely built on individual effort alone. It comes from being connected to the company’s priorities, engaged with the people driving the work, and committed to moving in the same direction as the broader organization. For many employees who have grown their careers here, relocating closer to Dallas has marked an important step toward greater impact and opportunity.
My own path has required real personal tradeoffs. I stepped away from what was familiar, adapted to new expectations, and chose career growth and responsibility over convenience. Those choices were not simple, but they opened doors to stronger relationships, greater visibility, and more meaningful collaboration.
Dallas is more than the company’s headquarters. It is a place where strategy, execution, and leadership come together. Being closer to key decision-makers and cross-functional partners creates faster communication, stronger alignment, and a deeper sense of shared responsibility for serving our customers and supporting one another.
That proximity also has clear business value. When teams are more connected, barriers are reduced, decisions move faster, and execution becomes stronger. Over time, that kind of discipline and coordination helps improve performance, strengthens the organization, and supports long-term shareholder value.
For that reason, moving to Dallas should be viewed as more than a personal career move. It reflects a willingness to invest in the company’s future, contribute more fully to the team, and help build a more focused, unified, and effective AT&T.
ah, and another year goes by... and layoff planning begins
This years bonuses were not paid in the US but were paid in India sending a clear signal of what is to come. Over 50% of US technical staff was laid off in last year's annual blood letting with a high probability of more to come again this year, perfectly timed after everyone works ridiculous hours finishing all the back to school work. Headcount continues to grow in India and even more of our US associates will be on there street after this years annual "event". For a US company, providing educational services to US schools, to prioritize employees in another country is akin to having American flags made in China. If that was not enough; efforts like Texas's Bluebonnet curriculum directly take aim at companies like HMH making their product obsolete. Sad state of affairs for US employees, and US schools.
How much are you guys pumped…
…for JDI day? Do you feel like they should’ve canceled it like wellness week?

So what’s the deal with losing two senior leaders in a week? Are we finally seeing BM clean up shop before “retiring” as has been rumored for several years now? MH is probably tired of waiting to takeover.

Let’s not forget the company that transformed how the world shares ideas and information. Xerox is known for inventing Xerography, the laser printer, the mouse, the graphical user interface, and Ethernet, all developed in its labs. Today, Xerox continues to innovate by expanding its IT offerings and creating a robust production ecosystem in print.
Despite predictions, the paperless office has not become a reality, and studies show that print enhances comprehension, recall, and memory. If you want to remember what you read, print it. More updates from Xerox are on the way.
This was more than just "a few hundred"
Why do they have to stay so vague? Why not give us the exact number?
Hiring freeze?
Why are there no current openings in myworkday? Is this temporary? I am a current employee.
The CTO is leaving?
Was in the tech side of 1515 and heard rumor the CTO is leaving?
Is it the streaming CTO (he is gone I thought already) or the CBS CTO?
This place is so confusing.

End of Rahul
He had just under 3 years, turnover went down from $14billion to $12billion. Share price down from $24 to $9 staggering -65% decline.
AI dream not producing any revenue, employees underpaid, Execs doubled their pay, layers of useless people given fake roles like Cumhire, Danny, and others. Its become a joke.
Wall Street is fed up of next quarter, next quarter excuses, never generating revenue. Bye bye Rahul you did very well out of it.
Are there alternatives?
SAP used to be the greatest company to work for, at least as far as I am concerned.
But now? Not anymore. The current board is su-king all joy and enthusiasm out of work.
But are other companies that different? Oracle... meh. Microsoft... no thanks.
Is there an alternative that a) pays well, b) treats their employees well, and c) is large enough not to disappear in the near to middle future?
I am not aware of any, unfortunately.

If any VPs or EVP are in this form. Please please and please request Dan to do everything in one single go and stop these RIF. People's are mentally challenged everyday by listening to rumors and fake news. Be bold and if Dan requires customers to be his first priority then give employment to his beloved customers and run this company with customers and remove all employees ( Onshore and offshore)
