Sooo, was Monday a major layoff day as many suggested...or...was it simply a business as usual day?

Everyday is a "layoff day" at Dell. I do not know why people keep expecting certain ays to be anymore or less than another. Just assume any moment, someone you know will be laid off.
I know of three people last month. Sad, but it happens daily.
jfc dude... dell isn't doing "mass" layoffs anymore. They did it for the last 6 years because they over hired from covid then realized, 99% of those hires were never needed. then realized that there was no need for 130k+ employees for a company that doesn't bring in enough revenue to justify that many employees. Therefore they went on a layoff frenzy for the last 6 years. They hit their number and now, AI has taken off for dell, the stocks are doing amazing and execs are getting richer.
Layoffs happen DAILY. There is no "is Monday the big day?" or bs like that anymore.

Did enough people quit the layoffs are no longer necessary?

Not a lot of people are reporting layoffs on this site lately.
If I look at linkedin, I see some people stating they've been let go from Dell. I see more from Oracle because I think a large amount of people were let go in the last few days.
