Will there be more cuts?

rumblings that major organization activity will commmence this week

1. They’ve been delayed to add more names to the list.
2. But they’re ready to go now. Week of 4/27.
3. Leaders have been asked to provide team productivity data.
4. I heard 10% and 20%. Worst number was 40% (of PHK Tech, not Global), probably over several waves.

I’m at the skunkworks, and since the Doug news broke, the mood has shifted pretty noticeably. A lot of us feel like the clock is ticking. Once Farley’s out, we lose our last real advocate for keeping this operation in California, Alan Clarke aside, but Dearborn’s not going to fight for us. I’m expecting a mass exodus, and the wild part is they haven’t even finished the Long Beach construction. We all know what Blue Oval City represents, so nothing feels off the table right now.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Or let me put it another way, any credible news on more cuts?

Anyone have any insight into ECS and layoffs? It’s been really weird with such little work available. Is AI being used covertly?

Our group had an all-hands meeting recently where we spent 45 minutes witnessing managers patting themselves on the back and 5 minutes of dodging questions about backfilling roles, future layoffs or severance. So yeah, super useful and effective. I'm still trying to figure out what was the point.

I keep hearing that this Thursday the 23rd is the notification day for GNT. Anyone else hearing the same thing? If you get notified, how long before you would be off payroll?

Everyone get prepared, the leaders we call id--ts are meeting, yet I want to gas you up to believe there’s a master plan some AVP and their directors have the power and competence to layoff their staff, self-defeating their own roles and stature. Surprisingly they have meetings all day. So with this information add more stress and chaos to your lives since you can certainly control and trust this information. I’ll post another nonsense and manic post in a few hours about something very specific with the most vague details.

I was released on 3/4 and ever since leaving life is SO much better. It feels good to smile again and enjoy life beyond AT&T. Just curious if my previous post from February was accurate in predicting additional upcoming layoff dates:

Hi everyone, I’m looking for any insight regarding potential restructuring within Aetna. Specifically, has anyone heard whispers about upcoming layoffs or organizational changes hitting the DDAT (Digital, Data, Analytics, and Tech) side? Any info would be appreciated.

TB placed it's new guy and he immediately got rid of biggest slacker. Now he is mandated for bigger clean up so next on the line will be the remaining testing people including the bigger lier who got the quality of product on the knees by protecting her puppies and almost ki-ling couple of products where many top performers have left because of her non competence. The next big list is just around the corner so stay tuned

Trying to catch the vibe and see through the fluff here. I see a meeting with potential future board member (JG) on the calendar, an earnings call, an all employee meeting, and then a wider team meeting following that.

Personally, I was going to leave the company in short order, but this feels like re-org and layoff damage control on my calendar.

Another slump in the stock price and another downgrade. I’d ask when will the BoD see the light that this dude is clueless and asleep at the wheel. However, we all know they are complacent!

Nonetheless, given we are now market based, the market clearly has no faith in the company and thus the !diot at the top REALLY needs to be the very next person laid off!
