@hx- nope-I’m going to keep working just to keep you down and loving it!
PS- go upstairs and give your parents a hug.
@hx Wow - you sound like an angry, petty A$$.
Look dinosaur, just take your retirement accounts and ride off into the sunset. The company has given you enough free handouts.
No vbo, I talked to someone in HR that was waiting for it but just retired rather than hold on for the remaining time they thought it would take for it to come back around.
VBO is whenever they want experienced people to quit. Last vbo they wanted white men to quit, to make DEI report look good. Now the new CIO belives he can give college graduates AI let them loose, and he won't need senior engineers. Everyone knows it's a stupid idea, in corporate loudest voice wins. So there could be, but never know.
VBOs are very expensive for the company. No reason to spend that much money when they can get people to quit or if that doesn’t get rid of enough heads, just do some cheaper layoffs.
Besides Fidelity has done 2 VBOs and it is very rare for a company to offer more than that.
They want enough people to quit so they can save money. They won't do a layoff or VBO. RTO is a sick experiment or a game of chicken.
