When is it anticipated to have the Verizon? IT moved over to the vendor teams? Been hearing rumors about that being on 27th of October.

Don’t any of you know they are outsourcing AI/TP and staff have already left or moved and the rest are getting laid off soon? And don’t you know they are outsourcing MSK too? They are just getting rid of depts by using vendors instead of us. They sure do “love” their staff so much that they don’t want to pay salaries and benefits.

I logically guesstimate that at least 30% of Humana’s profit margin today relies on cheaper non-citizen labor (e.g., H-1B Visas, Vendor Contracts that use H-1B Visas, Offshoring) and the hype to investors as to what AI (artificial intelligence) will bring about in the near future.

All it would take is for just two things to occur, perhaps coupled with one or two other coinciding events, to seriously ruin this corporation.

1) If H-1B Visas were to be sent packing and Vendors (heavily employed H-1B Visas) that Humana contracts with were to be highly scrutinized by federal government and brought to a halt.
2) AI (artificial intelligence) to be heavily regulated by the government and brought to a snail’s pace.

Executive leadership most likely will not admit it to you nor will SVPs, VPs, Directors, and Associate Directors as they have to “toe the line” and keep up the facade that “we are some big super power that nothing can stand in our way!” Pride goes before the Fall! Just a matter of time.

So there's a solid rumor going around that internal cs and tech will be rebadged to a PSO Vendor. VPs will not confirm or deny this claim, and from a company standpoint this just happened with the stores going to indirect. Seems to me like this can happen as Sprint and AT&T both have done this in the past. This would be wild if it happened.

Hope something good comes out of this. Also, hope they probe into other of these vendors such as Infosys, for example.

I am pretty sure there is something in the rebadging contract which is making to get delayed . Is the vendor not okay to rebadge all or want everyone as individual contributor or what is the expectation? We are making a guess of Deloitte vs HCL vs Infosys vs bla bla but are the vendors ready to accept everyone or they just need 50 percent of current headcount and rest will be fired ?
The level of anxiety is too high such that any person who is in loan repayment or in debt trap , it is such a huge mental stress . I know it is simple to say , try outside but considering the current market condition , getting a job is not that easy as it was early especially when the hiring companies are clearly segregating, this resume is from VZ

IT vendor partners(I dont want to mention name but every one knows) are providing very low quality resources and putting more pressure on VZ resources. Look at the quality of the people please do not look at the quantity. Raised concerns in multiple forums but no action taken. Hope this will change very soon.

Care1st was bought out by Wellcare & then Centene. This layoff was by far the worst & they allowed departments to pick who stays & goes based off personal gain & who would fall in line for AI. People have been let go for automation that has not even been made. Mission simplify infiltrated provider management in AZ. Before that, the entire provider enrollment and representative to group content was done in house. Centene has been outsourcing as much as they could prior to. Our enrollment departments are working against each other. We do our part & their third party vendor says f you were gonna follow own made up rules and things don't get in from the jump!

Reddit thread has me anxious. Poster stating that PBM layoffs will include up to 700 Customer Care either starting on or by 1/1/27. Poster correctly stated that Care is being outsourced to vendors.

Can anyone confirm the legitimacy of this claim? I have two small children and extremely anxious. I have to make sure they’re taken care of. Care is being outsourced to other vendors but seems strange to lay off 700 people right in advance of Welcome Season (our busiest time of year).

Your management can't help you, all your work has been taken from you, and given to vendors to create the illusion there is no work at all. Then they will either rebadge you, sell you, or put what is left into VZT.

By that time, there will be so few left you'll be happy just to have a job. When you tell your union rep what is going on they'll look at you with mild disdain or boredom and mutter the magic words "Well, they can do that".

The union has never spent a dime defending VZB techs or work... and they never will.

This place is a f'n joke! The audacity for management to tell us we are going to be training a vendor to do our jobs and in August they’ll decide if they want to keep us or not.

They got rid of the people who make or save most of the money. Why? Because when it breaks they can say “see how bad it was and we exposed it…good thing we were here to fix it” as a way to continue to self promote and buy more tenure and money. It’s a playbook commonly used.

Then, when the time comes they cannot produce, they will leave and the problem becomes someone else’s issue. That or they have to hire back the people or roles. When you remove the people who were most important to your success you get where Nike is today. Just wait until spend increases and there are no people or vendor spend left to cut.

Heard around 20+ dispatchers laid off last week. Positions moved to a vendor in India.

I think it's worth simplifying the story what is actually being investigated by the SEC. Basically, in March 2025 Gotham City Research accused Kyndryl and namely CEO & chairman Martin Schroeter of major issues surrounding cash flow. Firstly, it is important to note that Martin, as chairman, created a pay package for himself based mostly on the metric of free cash. Over 50% of his compensation is based on free cash. Since the report came out almost a year ago, Martin cannot claim ignorance.

So, what is free cash? Free cash is essentially the extra spending money a business has. So, they are free to use it as they please.

Now, the issues are that Kyndryl was sure doing a lot of gymnastics to inflate this number.

One allegation is that Kyndryl sold receivables to the bank and called that "revenue". Receivables are essentially IOUs for one-time payments. Kyndryl sold those to the bank and made it look like these loans are recurring revenue.

The allegations that the SEC are investigating also stem from the Gotham City report. This allegation says Kyndryl aggressively timed vendor payments to increase cash holdings and called that cash "free". This is like showing your spouse how much "spending money" you have in your bank account but failing to tell them you have that money because you missed your house payments. They have admitted to abnormalities in delaying vendor payments between quarters, which means they were punting expenses into away to call the cash to pay those expenses "free cash". That is clearly fraud.

Recently, Kyndryl, upon disclosing this information fired their CFO and general counsel, while claiming these two executives were not transparent with the CEO or the board. However, Kyndryl has decided NOT to let CEO Martin Schroeter lead any remediation plan, which will instead be led by the brand new interim CFO and interim general counsel. This is an obvious break showing they don't think shareholders trust Martin anymore.

Basically, if these allegations prove true, Martin will have to argue in court that he was an oblivious id--t instead of a criminal.

Avoid middle-layer vendors, as they often lead to unnecessary hiring. Direct hiring from VZ to the employer is a better strategy and helps reduce the risk of layoffs.

One vendor approach will ki-l access to talent and competition. There is already alot of biasing, nepotism, favors being extended.
