Some managers and dirs just do follow ups, just they pressure on developers to deliver data to meet deadlines. They didn't even know proper architecture, business, no proper direction to dev's and some even don't know basic git commands. I don't know how are they even surviving in this org.

RCS Townhall - hard to watch
What happened to sales? Not a single person could speak without reading a script. Can any of them be authentic like SV? Just speak naturally instead of something you clearly know nothing about.
One of the regional heads in the USA spoke for 10mins about a deal when she seemed to have NO understanding of either the deal or the client. It was brutal. And the head of DSS for gods sake just kept going nonstop.
It was refreshing to see the head of client solutions speak from the heart and provide real facts instead of reading from script.
Please Change this org. They cut engineering but not this? Shame!

I started filling this survey out even though it’s requesting your ID. Funny they’re basically asking, do you want higher deductibles that will allow for higher merit or keep it the same. Like either way they’re going to take from one thing to give it to another. It’s insulting. The way it’s set up is to show allllllll the benefits they give us. I had a dr appt yesterday. He asked who I work for and how it’s going. I said EDJ and that it’s not what it used to be and is getting progressively worse. He said he’s actually heard that from several patients lately.
So, word is getting out in the community! I figured it must be given the FA losses, and nna and auc missing goals by a long shot, but this was interesting anecdotal evidence!

New Announcements Today about new plans
Well, with all the changes coming to the promotions and plans, I really hope the things turn around.
I think the changes are remarkable and will bring the real value.
But.....
The team that is handling the front end websites and links, you guys are sc--wing over verizon.
The link shared by Dan on LinkedIn currently routes to a 404 error page.
Furthermore, the website navigation is highly confusing; broken links are common, and refreshing pages inconsistently switches pricing between $30/line and $45/line. Finally, several phone selection options appear interactive but are entirely unclickable.

Layoffs not totally surprising. The dead silence from any level of leadership is the more telling aspect. This round immediately after the close of the voice of the employee surveys!

It’s beyond repair
This company is so behind its time, pushing against goals and KPIs, working with bespoke systems and thinking they are superior.
Exec management tries to make the workforce more efficient while the common Associate has very limited MSFT Office skills (don’t get me started on AI…).
There’s significant pushback against any organizational changes or growth goals while there is a fatalistic approach that we’re all gonna loose our jobs.

A huge miss by the World Cup team
EH built a huge ticker out front counting down the World Cup and you couldn’t manage to make your shoes different colors than the competitors? It’s literally a sea of pink cleats, impossible to set apart the brands. Nike in a nutshell, who is to blame? Should the color team be accountable? The head of global football? Where is the ticker to determine how many more days we have to watch this embarrassment?

Dan is becoming the laughing stock
Ole Danny boy is quickly becoming the laughing stock among tech leaders because he’s so over his head about AI. He thinks he’s a leader in the space, and it’s hilarious to read commentaries, feedback, opinions about him that point out his misguided beliefs and his totally wrong view of AI. It’s honestly embarrassing and I know the C-Suite in several large corporations and sitting back building war chests to buy out parts of Verizon once he fully flops and drives the company to its knees. I meet with C-Suite level in multiple companies through consulting contracts, and I can tell you 100% that Dan is the punchline of the joke, but he’s too arrogant and/or stupid to see it.

AI Disaster Implementation
So we rolled out these AI tools last week. You know who you are. They are a complete disaster. The tools provide minimal value and very tedious to use. They actually make our work much more difficult, all to improve “quality”. This is going to lead to a backlog of work. What is the play here? Create a disaster on purpose so some higher-up finally gets that AI ain’t all it’s cracked up to be?
How responsive is the HR “Alumni” team?

Inconsistent Meets year end and I’m still here
Honestly thought they would have dropped the axe months ago at this point. My IM rating was out of nowhere. I knew they basically cut everyone who wasn’t doing anything at all at this point and now have to find others to slash. Haven’t heard any concerns from my boss about performance since the year end review but am still expecting another bad rating based on what thier new process is. I’m guessing I have until September at the latest until they finally pull the trigger but just curious about everyone’s thoughts. Can’t wait until they finally do it and I never come back to this board again.

I love survey time of the month. It’s hilarious that the company asks us each and every month about how we feel about them. Do they take it seriously? Absolutely not. Do they use it to weed out people who come forward to section and claims managers? ABSOLUTELY!!!
But I want to point out how hilarious it is when you answer the questions about why it’s so stressful and why you don’t want to come into the office e more -!it ends with ‘you are least satisfied with Strategy.’ Really?!?! The strategy is to grind us into oblivion. I can’t believe I’m saying this but bring Tippy back. Least Tipsord wasn’t blind to the need for work life balance…kind of. D1 injury in particular is the most likely to make you crash out from mental exhaustion and it’s very clear they don’t give a flying F!
How many people who get put on PIPs genuinely deserved it?
