Anyone else on here just gave the lowest score for every answer ?? I hope this is confidential if not I’ll be targeted for being honest and what layoffs have done to my morale
I notice the new Pulse survey asks how long you intent to keep working at Verizon for, with no option to put 'until I'm RIF'd'.
Do they seriously think we'll indicate our intent to leave, so they can bank on natural attrition to do Dan's dirty work for them? They're making Verizon such an awful place to work, I imagine a lot of people are actively looking for alternative employment, but why would we share that info with them? I know I won't, and I'm actively looking for a new job.
Did you do yours?
Did you guys complete it ?
So are we all just going to nod along, or is somebody going to ask the obvious questions like, "What's the strategy again?" and "When exactly are we planning to factor human capital into it?"
If you been here a year or you been here 15 years. You know that Verizon doesn’t give a cr-p about you. You are a number. Always have been always will be. My issue is, at least they used to hide the fact you didn’t matter. It was not as apparent as it is now. Employee morale is at an all time low everywhere. Unless you’re making six figures of course. Leadership is so out of touch with reality. Put them in front of a computer or tablet and ask them to sell. They would look at you cross eyed. Let alone hit these insane quotas that they are putting in front of us. It’s everywhere. Retail r2b V2B b2b. Let’s change commission. You’ll make more they said. Lmao. All of us that have been around long enough know that’s a crock of shi* anytime commission is changed it’s to line the pockets of the C suite. The ones that have zero clue.
The cost of living is at the highest it’s ever been and we can’t even get a raise enough to cover it. It’s actually a pay cut with the rising cost of insurance.
Funny we have not had a pulse survey for quite a while. Not that they matter. They just change show you the good results and say “you asked we listened”
We got so accustomed to being the “best” carrier. Now, T-Mobile and AT&T are laughing in our faces.
Run while you can. If you can. This is a sinking ship.
funny how hard they would push them and now they've been quiet about it for almost a full year
Only for non union. Thoughts? They don’t care about us?
MeetingPulse is already open and the first 2 questions are about WFH. Thoughts?
"Don't leave negative comments because the message that sends is the employees aren't happy anyway might as well make them come back in 5 days a week" -an excerpt from a meeting with my manager
Leave negative comments, it pi---s them off
The Smart ones leave, the numbnuts keep drinking the coolaid (AKA KoolAid) expecting severance packages ! Keep waiting or define your future yourself ! YOUR CHOICE !
Who the heck are these people? The result was 73...for real...??? Do these people hate their friends or did so few respond that some c-suite group was able to skew the results?
Only sticking around to shove a 1 score on the 'would you recommend' question, something of which I've never done in my tears as it reflects badly on my direct leader. Given they are absent and chasing the same dreams we are, my head says who cares might as well trash the ENPS with the knowledge it always leaks every year although the business stopped publishing the scores years ago because everyone continually trashed them and they've never bothered to fix the issues - although maybe they have now with ODW and AI bots!
I have A LOT to say. Could write a book. Haven't done one in the last 5 years or so, or even remember when the last one was, but this time around there is no holding back. Hoping it's coming soon.

Survey is open. But be honest.
All impacted and gone as well as impacted mentally from this BS and are staying employed should go to Glassdoor and absolutely annihilate the Verizon review of both the company and Dan the Hatchet man! Let our real pulse survey be heard!
Vestberg was CEO at VZ for 7 years. Coincidentally the same amount of years he was CEO at Ericsson. Two companies left in a wake of mismanagement. The difference? The VZ BoD had a resume to review. Despite his failures in Europe the VZ BoD made him their CEO. History repeating itself was, sorry to say, an almost foregone conclusion. Now the BoD handed gas and torch to Schulman. He’ll cut off the legs to save the body. Then the BoD will “find” the next version of Vestberg. They can’t help themselves from making poor choices. Vestberg will likely have $20M follow him out the door whilst 15k are shown the door. Whomever takes over “Verizon - The Rehab Edition” has choices. Continue on with segmentation and compartmentalization driving the Company further into the ground, or, perhaps, bring things back under the roof. No more HRBP from outside sources running the Company. No more useless Pulse Surveys. But alas, the names will change and the downward spiral is likely to continue. If there was a time for the Shareholders to remove an entire Board. It’s now or in the very near future. Pipe dream of course. Good luck to all who are leaving. Find a Company run by intelligent people who actually know the business they run.
Please pulse the 15,000 managers being let go so we can really know how they feel lol. Brown noising only gets you so far ill stick with the union.
Does everyone submit your feedback on your Boss in The Real Deal bot survey ? My boss never reminded me to take this survey anytime ;) Are they scared? Is this for real or another junk
Did anyone notice a difference in the Q4 pulse survey? It looks like the question are geared toward leadership. The last comment box directly asks what action has been taken since the last survey. Maybe the new CEO is looking to make some changes for all levels of leadership? I’ve been with Verizon 10 years and every rif they only target below ADs. Everyone AD and above are always safe. It’s time to start snipping from the top and not the people who actually do the work.
Who filled out the Pulse survey? And more importantly - were you brutally honest?
Why are these guys in such a rush to receive all of the negative feedback they’re going to get through this survey? Pushing to have 100% completion in the first week and giving drps to the first teams to do it. I can’t wait to get my free shirts after trashing the company in every question like I do every year since mission one started! Maybe we’ll even get another useless team morale building cookout!
What a joke! 90% people took it? are you serious? when 3 days before it closed, we were told there were less than 50% participation, please please please take it we were told.
IMPOSSIBLE.
15% point gain in leadership trust? again, seriously? IMPOSSIBLE.
Those numbers are so rigged. So obvious. Like I said before, stop taking it.
They are taking our last awesome benefit: our health insurance and Collective Health. Aetna is cr-p. Lets just wait to see the premiums...
A reminder for those waiting for the next CES. Your feedback is being collected in realtime. Employees sentiment is monitored by Aware, an AI service that monitors internal dialogue.
If you were wondering why the CES seems diluted, it is because they already have the data they need

Sacking someone who made you a trillion, reshuffling entire top leadership only to make associates go through anxiety, uncertainty and depression all over again????
Pulse survey can’t come sooner, fido leadership is dead
The world is more unpredictable and dangerous than ever, yet corporate America is dragging people back into offices. At a time when safety, flexibility, and family should come first, pulling people farther from home makes no sense. If something were to happen, being close to loved ones and communities matters most. Forcing rigid return-to-office policies isn’t leadership — it’s reckless. Real leadership means empathy, foresight, and moving forward, not clinging to broken traditions. When does the next pulse survey go out?
Boycott this useless survey like 35% of the employees did in March. Let’s beat that number!
Don’t think your opinion matters these days!
Don’t take it.
Will they be using their tracking of which Cigna people gave low scores to determine layoff candidates? I assumed so that is why I lied on mine. Who else lied on their survey?
We want to see the CES Results! It's as big a scandal as the Epstein Files! What are they hiding?
When do you think we can do another CES so I can give my opinion on how cr-ppy things are?
Send a message. Do not attend. We have made clear what has to change and they have no intention of doing it. Do not give them any more of your valuable time to gaslight you into thinking everything is great. The only healthy way to handle an abusive partner is to go no-contact. Expressing your misery only makes them feel powerful.
