Upstream layoff announcement
700 jobs 20% of group leaders
Handed in my resignation yesterday
The team is great, but the culture is completely broken. To everyone still there, I know it's a rough job market, but there are better places out there if you are patient and take your time to find them.
When’s the next big reorg announcement?
I heard it’s this week but I haven’t received anything yet. The suspense is ki-ling me.

Downstream Webcast
Why are these execs so delusional? The message could not be more clear: pump all your data into our systems so our AI and India teams can cut your jobs. Also, get your a-s in an office even if that means you're staring at a wall. Cut the execs... — read more
This isn't surprising
Looking at how things have been run, it's no shock we're in this position. The whole operation is stuck in the past.
AI algorithm layoffs
I heard that this round of layoffs will be using AI algorithms to identify who should be laid off. It wasn’t clear if managers have to accept the AI decision or if managers can veto.
Which rumors are true?
Rumors are buzzing all around the company. Unfortunately since leadership hasn’t communicated much people are making things up. I suggest you don’t spread rumors until we have facts in official communications.
Leaders who don't belong
This place is in shambles because the people running it don't know what they're doing. Most of them got to where they are through nepotism, and it's obvious.
Anybody else notice the apathy is spreading like wildfire?
You can see it everywhere. People have completely stopped trying. Management doesn't care about us, so we don't care about our jobs anymore.

Global team call
The function I work in had a global team call today. It was framed as an update about the reorganization. Leadership did not have ANY new information. They literally said what was previously announced in an email, then did 20 minutes of Q&A that... — read more

5 years after reinvent
The orchestra has stopped. The music of reinvent is over, just 5 years after its terrible opening. Now, the cull of the rest of the reinventors who have hidden in the VP roles needs to complete this master opus.
