This is crazy 25% of my team on OT was wiped out. Even offshore employees were let go. I'm guessing they will be replaced by bottom of the barrel contractors.
How id everyone else's team doing?

I'm new here, I'm stressing and unable to sleep, so please humor me. How are people notified? I know there's an email notification, but is it then a meeting just with your manager, HR, or somebody else? Is it a whole group at once or one by one? Are people terminated immediately or do you have to stay on for a few weeks? I'm just trying to figure out what to expect.
I was laid off in August so I was just wondering about my folks in Atlanta.
Any word on layoffs in ECS?
Once was a time I was proud to work at VZ. In the matter of two short years It turned into a sh-tshow I blame my director for hiring supervisors without a clue in the world how the world works or how to turn a wrench. GET THESE GUYS OUT! p.s. I would bring my concerns up to my supervisor but the retaliation at this company is real. RIP VERIZON ON TO THE NEXT
This is actually becoming pathetic. You can’t get the data on time, never mind right. People’s employment is tied to this stupid report, Jay. Get it right.
Wondering how many folks have lost their jobs. OPKS HQ hit pretty hard.
The people who run this company do not know what to do! Every directive we get from the top makes no sense and makes all of our jobs harder! This business is built on collecting free money from tax payers and the Idots still cant make it work!
Has anyone heard anything, im struggling financially now after years of no rises. Grocery and other costs are astronomical. Its an urgent issue now.
Hearing multiple people cut across the nation.
Whats your count?
I'm newer to OI... how do they typically let people know that they have been laid off? Is it a last minute meeting? Do you get an meeting invite at the beginning of the day? Are you told individually or is it in groups? Is it your manager sharing the news or is it typically HR? Like all of us- I am nervous!
Anything about BVS (consumer) being affected today or any time soon? Coaches are walking around whispering, apparently they all have 15 mins meetings today. I do not have any calendar invites myself.
There comes a time when we must come to terms with being led by malicious, unethical, psychopaths. Protect yourself, they will eat you tomorrow if they believe they can gain anything.
and for the love of whatever higher power you do or don't believe in, whistle blow outside the organization not within it. They are smothering honest reports
Didn't hear about any cut in Jan and also given that had huge cut in 2025
Just wondering if anyone has any intel on exactly when the upcoming layoffs will occur?
The date for the first quarter layoffs is set to the first Monday in February. It’s going to be a bloodbath.
Good luck everyone
#stayfree a buddy if mine got laid off and took a bunch of his personal files while now tmobile is charging her with stealing company data. She's freaking out stay free everyone
Has anyone noticed the cosmetic hours that are partially paid for from Clinique and Estee Lauder being used for the backend of the store? They will schedule someone without letting them know usually they can't get in to the reflexes so it's a no show then those hours are diverted to other areas anyone eles notice this in other Belk stores? It's been reported but nobody does anything to them.
Anybody on H1B visa impacted in this round so far? In previous rounds, no visa folks were impacted, at least on the network org. Seems like company is harboring visa holders, Anybody else feel that way? H1B paperwork involves filling costs, lawyer fees etc. which is opex, If the goal is saving opex....
Anyone have an update here ?
good luck to everyone.
How are we supposed to survive this?

Anyone with an employee discount receive notification of a credit due to the outage. I tried customer service but gave up after being on hold forever. I’m going to guess that BZ will somehow deny us a credit for some reason they can’t justify.
Employees made it over three years of constant layoffs most won’t make it to 2027. The company is going to get eaten alive by competition and the fact Dell doesn’t have relevant products for innovation.

Has anyone heard if they are taking away company cars? If so who does this affect? What levels?
Not many visitors any more, does anyone know why?
RF Sr Manager here Just had a meeting with my Sr. Director & it looks like most of the folks impacted on my team are H-1B employees, mainly to reduce OPEX costs. That’s really sad. We have some truly great people on the team and they’re top performers. It’s honestly worrying and disappointing.
I got word that layoffs will continue through February. Watch yourselves.
Can somebody confirm this?
It sounds like A LOT of IM & NI are being given out this year and from what I'm hearing, not for any real reason. But how is this going to look to the regulators, when the majority of team members have sh---y ratings? Maybe it's not an issue? I'm genuinely curious. If I was a regulator looking at risk or compliance and half the team has sh---y ratings, you'd think that make the "firm" look bad? Maybe not, just curious.
Somebody asked in another thread if we're going to do quarterly layoffs until only Atty is left, and frankly and sadly, I think that's much closer to the truth than the poster intended. The way things have been developing, it seems that we've reached the stage where layoffs, instead of only being used when absolutely necessary, have become something used regularly just to pad the numbers. That's our future.
Yall think it's a coincidence the ULB is not updated ?
