Told my manager i am retiring in 2027 and he offered to put me on the list of employees that can be let go with severence. That was a big YES from me.
More layoffs are coming. I think it would be bigger news if there were no layoffs in the quarter
Is there a definite layoff coming? There’s been so much management change lately people coming and going I can’t keep track anymore who is head of what department. And there was an earlier post on here last month about quite a few supposed retirements lately and I can’t agree more. Makes me wonder if those closer to retiring are getting a severance to do so and quickly.
