Only Americans will be laid off. H1B and other visa types are a legal obligation, and are expensive to hire, rehire and layoff. So, it is better to be as a H1B employee. You will not be touched and if you have a same caste manager, you have super powers.

End of an era: CR team bracing for impact
After 12 years of blood, sweat, and tears with the QTM team in CR, tomorrow is my final day—and it's ending in absolute disaster. I just found out multiple teams are being laid off tomorrow, and IT is shutting down completely in a month or two. Sending strength to all my CR colleagues heading into HR meetings tomorrow. With most of the US team already gone, it's baffling to think who is expected to keep the lights on and handle the remaining work
Care for yourself more than Fannie layoff
Please don't be stressed out on layoff, it may be rumour or actual layoff. Don’t worry for things, did't happen yet, be a man and face situation when it comes. Laugh, smile and enjoy your life. Work is work, you are living in USA the most resilient job market in the entire WORLD. Where job openings are available every few mins. Enjoy your life!
Hiring fraud
Someone should investigate this workplace for immigration fraud, displacing American workers, Caste system, Contractor/Body shops fraud.
Please report with all evidences to the Department of Labor.
Someone please spill the beans!
Report the Fraudsters
Corporate managers are actively exploiting the immigration system, practicing race and caste discrimination, and displacing qualified U.S. citizens.
Your immediate action is required to stop them.If you witness visa fraud, discriminatory favoritism based on race or caste, or hidden Labor Condition Application (LCA) postings, you have a civic and legal duty to blow the whistle.
Federal agencies rely directly on worker reports to shut down these illegal operations, penalize corrupt management, and enforce fair hiring practices.
Do not remain silent while corporate entities bypass federal law at the expense of American workers.Take action immediately by preserving evidence and filing formal complaints through these critical federal channels:
Document LCA Violations: Take clear photographs of mandatory Labor Condition Application (LCA) postings as physical evidence. Federal law requires these to be conspicuously displayed on corporate notice boards, breakroom bulletin boards, or directly inside manager and contractor rooms.
USCIS Fraud Detection: Submit explicit details of visa manipulation directly via the USCIS Tip Form at uscis.govDepartment of Labor:
File a formal workforce exploitation complaint with the DOL Wage and Hour Division at dol.gov
Civil Rights Violations: Report the displacement of citizen employees, racial bias, or caste discrimination to the DHS Civil Rights Complaint Portal at dhs.gov
EEOC Enforcement: Trigger a formal federal investigation into national origin, race, or caste-based discrimination via the EEOC Public Portal at eeoc.gov
How to know if you are in list
My friend in India just said that HR has paused the vehicle leasing option anticipating layoff in July. Eligible emp has to raise some ticket to get confirmation - if you r in list or not... Raise and find out
This is not applicable in US region
Rebadging....
Rumors are that VZ employees will be rebadged to Deloitte, has anyone has confirmed news? Is it applicable to Global Employees or just Onsite (USA)?
Last Week LayOffs: only USA or VZI as well?
Last week's layoffs carried over US employees itself or VZ India as well? Why all american workers and their positions get eliminated but not India employees? Is it because of cheap rates? Though their work is at sub-par in quality and no accountability what so ever?
Elimination by race & gender in full effect!
PepsiCo is following suit with the US Administration and eliminating minorities and women from the organization! Intelligence and loyalty mean nothing to this company any longer. Looking at the org charts is like looking at a vanilla ice cream cone with a very light dusting of dark chocolate sprinkles.
Management - your astroturfing is backfiring
Don't spend money on paying Indian contractors to astroturf here. Use that money instead to give American workers a raise. I am not kidding when I say every post that is clearly from management or a foreign worker is a clear sign to the American workers that you are scared, and I'm using it accordingly. Give us salespeople higher base pay and activity here will begin to calm down AND productivity will increase!

Imagine a different US Bank
Imagine if a bank decided not to compete on being less bad than everyone else.
Imagine if it looked at the industry and said, “Just because everyone is doing it doesn’t mean we have to.”
What if it stood by the remote employees who had already proven they could succeed instead of treating them like a problem to solve?
What if it expanded opportunities instead of restricting them?
What if people weren’t waking up every morning wondering if this was the year their role disappeared, their office closed, or their job was outsourced?
What if leadership understood that fear isn’t a culture. It’s just survival.
Imagine a workplace where employees felt trusted instead of monitored. Secure instead of disposable. Valued instead of interchangeable.
People who feel safe don’t spend their energy worrying about what’s coming next. They spend it solving problems, helping customers, mentoring coworkers, and finding better ways to work.
Loyalty isn’t created by reminding employees that another company is treating its people even worse.
It’s created by giving people a reason to stay when they have other options.
A company willing to break from the herd instead of following every industry trend could become known for something far more valuable than quarterly cost savings.
It could become known as the place where people actually wanted to build a career.
I wonder how different the future of banking could look if one company decided that leading the industry meant doing better, not just doing less harm.

USA World Cup exit

Why is Q hiring again in US?
Too much brain drain in US? So counter-intuitive to All In Dia approach.
Global Distribution RM Teams Restructure
I ain’t in America but the reorg over there has got me thinking about what happens in my region and country. Has anyone heard much? Is the USA the first to restructure and then other countries follow?

India and US layoffs are coming in FY27?
What will happen in FY27?
Layoffs in August.
The offshore contractors will start getting on boarded as Full time US Bank employees. That means layoffs starting August.
RIF for remote 29 and 30
Got a direction to reduce remote roles today. Anyone else is getting this? Especially to prioritize 29 and 30 who are full remote and in the USA.
Normalizing the chaos
For your own sanity, let go of any, it's over, all clear, we, who remain standing, are safe now, etc., because it does you no good. To the best of your ability, prepare for the worst, make smart decisions with the assumption that this is coming for everyone. Instead of being consumed with fear and anxiety, redirect that energy and make a list. Start prioritizing what you need to do to be as ready as possible. Everyone's resources will be different, but think about maintenance items, looking hard at the family budget. Be clear eyed about where you are. If changes need to be made, make them. It's heartbreaking and gut wrenching, but you will serve yourselves and your families better by being ready than by wringing your hands. Please see your doctor/therapist to discuss your concerns if you are not sleeping or struggling with anxiety. And, really, who isn't? There is lots of help available to manage that. Do not struggle alone, no one deserves this. Lastly, if you are considering self harm, call 988 in the United States for immediate help. Your family needs you here and will be here, long after all of this is over.
The entire company is a dumpster fire
Thanks to McKinsey for ruining an American gem
Employee base
Does anyone know how many full time employees we have in the US? How many per group? VCG, CMO, VBG, etc

Internal transfer is still ongoing.
This week it was confirmed that a new group of team members has transferred from India to the US.
Anti-american Bias = layoffs

No Raises Again!
Pretty funny that LP announced that only 3rd world countries would be getting raises, some of the countries that were deemed worthy of raises are miles from US friends. I'll bet we haven't had raises in the US for like 10 out of 15 years, always some crisis, that results in a delay. How do you run a company like this? When workers complain about it, the answer is we saved jobs as a result of no raises and your lucky to have a job. Speaking on behalf of the people that are left, who cares! Let more people go. The funniest thing is that my big SVP who send us these strange demanding emails all the time threatens everyone that they won't get a raise next month when raises are planned if we miss achieving 20 different metrics he came up with at the start of the week. Teflon
Which is it?
What about EMEA/APAC/India??? Some say other regions follow - one reply says EMEA was already informed - another says Americas only. Which is it?
