We finally had the EBOS Townhall, postponed repeatedly after the VSP and RIFs started. Depressingly cringe, like trying to give a team halftime pep talk when 30% of the team left, 30% injured and the rest left to make up a 100 point scoring deficit. Carrie Milby looked bloated, stressed and overwhelmed while trying to deliver her "we got this" pep talk. For those left, Mission Simplify means doing more with less. God help us all.

What was that.. 12 mins of content circleje*k with no updates or results and 40 mins of questions that don’t tell us sh1t.

Basically confirmed future reductions and refused to even acknowledge the question about what quartile cost we’re in now..

What should we expect on the Town Hall today? Any major announcements or more fluff?

I’ve heard chatter that the closing of the Delaware office is going to lead to a huge increase of layoffs. But get this upper management is already aware and the town hall meeting was damage control!! This place is absolutely horrid. I wonder how many teams of people have heard this same rumor? A lot of folks aren’t showing up in office anymore which is strange.

The company is hiring in offshore locations but not in onshore.
Townhalls are in India. PIP is in action with more to come.
Why are you training your replacements?
How do onshore employees see a future here? I’m not seeing it. Help me understand the logic to stay.

Cognizant is rolling out a new AI platform for Centene. It will launch in 2027 and will replace most humans. What AI can’t do, they are hiring H1-B outsourcing. Look up Cognizant & Trizetto.

I missed this week BD Townhall…Could anyone pls share top 2-3 takeaways?

Does anyone else have a problem buying the absolute BS that comes with these recent townhalls? Trying to oversell the progress of the company even among the financial losses, low clinician satisfaction and lack of moral within employees? They keep preaching that they are listening to grievances, yet they continue pushing next agendas and plans for changes when we aren’t stable enough to implement successfully. Saying they want more automation = less need for manpower = layoffs. But they don’t say it.

These Town Hall meetings should be shown to people with insomnia so they can get some sleep. Brutal.

Why was the Townhall canceled? There are several rumors about why they keep canceling the TH (3 times since June). they are cooking something up. A potential IPO? Maybe not. Poor Q2 numbers? What else?

Does anyone know what was said at the MB town hall today?

I’m grasping at straws here so take it easy on me in the responses please. I’ve noticed from reading posts on here that a few departments are having townhalls in August which is when RIF is allegedly supposed to occur. My department doesn’t have any townhalls scheduled until September after the initial VSP separation date and it’s 1 of those choose between 2 different dates type of meetings. I feel as though if we were laid off it would be 1 day only, the option to choose is making me feel as though we won’t be affected by RIF’s. This whole fiasco has been a disaster! I don’t want to dox myself but I work in PHCO.

It feel like the European markets has become the last target. Managers, mid level engineers and data scientists are being laid off like leaves falling in autumn. The way it is being handled makes it seem like they want to abandon much of the remaining EU markets. All veterans almost let go.

If feels as if minions were simply told, "keep removing people until you hit the quarter target numbers" , layoff is Nielsen new innovation, regardless of the consequences. The irony is that they seemed sorting employees by compensation in Excel and working their way down. R.I.P

Might have missed it because it was held at engine. Heard some colleagues talk about how bad today’s Townhall was.

Big Town Hall tomorrow being given by top leaders of CE Custody, now part of Fid Wealth. Anyone have any idea if it’s anything different than the usual upper management patting themselves on the back for the work that beyond burnt out depressed associates are doing and how low they keep expenses? Maybe some announcement about changes due to being a part of lovely Fid Wealth?

More mass layoffs NOT coming within the next year, this wasn’t the start of monthly rounds thankfully, though I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple roles across departments are eliminated, but that’s common occurrence nowadays. This was confirmed directly from leadership in my orgs townhall.

Is there a video or something to confirm this?

It seems like this is not the last round of layoffs. Prepare for further organization changes within the year…

Recent Town Hall someone asked about more layoffs and the answer was clear - Enbridge isn’t doing any more mass layoffs. So they told us what we want to hear but they are just playing games. They are doing micro layoffs instead and just keeping quiet about it.

At the town hall mtg, there was a slido question about HBA relocation. What was the outcome of the recent survey? Any plans requiring associates to move to St Louis? They didn’t get to that question. If anyone has inside scoop, please share.

Today they posted a link to the town hall recording. I missed the event so I was looking forward to watching.
Watched the entire recording but it was only 38 minutes long for an hour long call!
They deleted the Q&A!!!!
Talk about a lack of trust that I will ever have that they will accurately provide recordings.

Same day as the town hall, get a call saying how remote workers are getting laid off and their work is moving to India. Probably one of the many rounds of this. How much will need to be offshored before they take US out of the name?

What is going on? We got the email about George Dyer with the town hall next week, but we just got a meeting invite from our L5 named 'quick update'. I've sat through countless calls that were named this because folks were laid off. Anyone know anything?
