I'm tired of the constant reorgs. And the "town halls" & videos telling us about the latest managers' copy/paste priorities & "must-wins." It's so tone deaf. At this point we don't care what's important to you. You've lost the audience - we're not listening anymore. We want to hear about what's important to us - "what's your timeline on offshoring/outsourcing the rest of the U.S. based jobs?" Tell us which departments are going next so we can make some plans for our families. That's our priority.

You already know the answer OP. I recommend you get started looking for a new job and leave when it is convenient for you.
Our 1st line has made it very known by his actions. He is only interested in himself and vantage. Hes like the character Bradley cooper plays in wedding crashers just talking to hear himself to appease others. But here’s the issue. We have scene through this. Many folks making plans.
If you are not an executive and not in a market facing role (Trading, Sales) and are asking the question, your job is going to India.
My message back to them then is "Don't expect us to listen to or care about your priorities." We're done.
@a8 Sadly, I've already made plans. I'll be leaving by next summer. But maybe I would have stayed longer if they came out & said - your department will go in 2 years, 3 years, etc. And I'm one of those high performers they'd probably like to hang onto & overload with work. Zero transparency leads to zero trust or loyalty.
You won’t know their plans until you are inexplicably ranked NSI and shown the door. They are good at making people miserable as well so that they leave on their own.
It is very much a moving goalpost. The BTC isn’t building capability as fast as they thought it would. At the same time they want to move more and more work to the BTC.
They will never be honest and open about this but we all know it is what is being planned. Remember when they first opened the BTC and we were told it was just to do the low value work that we didn’t have time to do and that they wouldn’t be offshoring our jobs. They will lie and be deceptive until the very end.
@a8 that's the right answer. Have some self respect - EM don't own you, they think they do but that's because they think you are as greedy as they are.
The MC all know that energy needs are transitioning but they just don’t know how fast. For example, diesel will be needed more than gasoline so every US refinery is being reconfigured. If lucky, one might survive 5 years but beyond that, it’s a gamble so plan accordingly.
They need people to stay long enough to get PiPd when the time is right. If they come out and just say which groups are going to disappear in three years, folks will leave too soon.
Why passively wait for these jokers to be real with you, when they've already demonstrated time and time again that they never will be?
Just make your own plans, and find an exit for yourself so you can provide for your family via working at a different company.
Reasonable stance but unlikely to happen. More transparency may lead to some undesired outcomes, so it's simply off the table.
