Reverse Racist

Trusit is the most reverse racist company I have ever worked for. I applied internally for multiple positions that I am well qualified for. I was passed over multiple times, if I even had an interview, by some one of a different color & different... — read more

Mortgage Servicing Layoffs in 2026

Truist is winding down its mortgage servicing operations and transferring the portfolio to two new subservicing partners in phases throughout 2026 and 2027. If you work in mortgage, begin looking for other opportunities immediately.

TFC performance

Five year return for TFC is just over 18%. Compare that to JPM at over 202%. I realize we are not exactly comparing apples and apples but at this sort of return for Truist why hasn’t the Board of Directors got rid of Billy Boy. ?

Thoughts

I just want to say i’m really grateful for my career at Truist. Truly. This job means a lot to me. I’m feeling pretty vulnerable right now, if I’m being honest. I care deeply, and the thought of losing this weighs heavy. I want to keep showing up... — read more

Big news

It appears some big news may be announced this week. I’ve heard it could affect teammates. That said, the source isn’t especially reliable, so it’s difficult to know for sure.

TD&O Reorg Announcement

Does anybody have any insight or guesses as to what this restructuring means for those of us who are at the bottom of the totem pole? And are all these additional roles really needed? Because this is really starting to feel like real-life game of... — read more

WARNING! SKILLS ASSESSMENT

This week, the "HR Skills Team" is rolling out a Skills Assessment to all teammates. While it's being framed as a routine evaluation to understand “team and skill needs,” I want to be transparent, this assessment will be tied to upcoming layoff... — read more

Where else?

This group is drowning in glazing, gaslighting, reactive abuse, and DARVO. Is there anywhere else we can actually talk about what’s really happening without all the manipulation?

Afraid of Confrontation??

Anybody else’s manager hides behind a screen to tell someone that they didn’t something wrong? My manager made an ‘appearance’ in our office last week since they work from home (but we have to go into the office) and they never said a word to me... — read more

Operations transition to Technology

The Operations organization has the most frequent "touch" to clients and their ability to operate is essential for existing client confidence. As a client, should I be concerned about the transition of Operations to Technology? Has the new CIO had... — read more

Any one happy at Truist?

I am weighing my options. I have an offer from Truist for a fully remote position. The salary is at the high end of my other offers. I read this board and it seems everyone is miserable and wants to leave. My question is anyone happy they are at... — read more

Pension

So how much longer are we going to have before the pension is frozen? Seems like this is the last big balance sheet liability they have not tried to shed.

Greedy Billy Bob?

Weird how Billy is greedy for himself (wouldn’t still be a CEO after all these years if he wasn’t a POS) but portrays to be for disadvantage ppl? Could it really be that he isn’t paying DEI hires as much so he can pay himself more? Or is he getting... — read more

Sr. Leaders Gone

Keith Thornton and Tori Kaplan are gone. I heard more changes to come and layoffs during a STAR phase 2.

I hate the job

Truist is a peace of sht! Along with the Branch “Leaders” and micromanaging a-s Area “Leaders”. I see why so many jumped ship to the competitors. This job is a damn nightmare that I will soon wake up from and never look back
