Any chance they’ll offer these in 2026?

I hope so.
Not going to happen, too expensive. But, the work environment will continue to deteriorate with the plan being that you will leave on your own accord and that’s really hard to do if you are 50 years or older. Not exactly a pleasant way to spend your final years before retirement. But, that’s how Bill and crew roll.
@cb In my experience they tend to target woman over 50. SunTriust is the textbook definition of a boys club.
Be careful--they will promise a great package and a couple years not honor it!! I was part of the early retirement option in 2021, right before the official name change. I elected to go & haven't regretted a day I did it. But I found out January 9th, they eliminated the Pre65 Coverage and I no longer have Dental or Vision Coverage. I got a letter from McGriff telling me the coverage was not offered any longer. TRUIST NEVER sent anything out in the Fall telling us they were discontinuing the coverage. I had just ordered new glasses Jan 2nd and had a dental appt on Jan 12th. We knew when Rogers took over he would F*%&** the BB&T employees like he had done to Suntrust before the merger. So disappointed in what we have become. They owed us the decency to continue the coverage but minimum to tell us they were eliminating it.
The only time I’ve witnessed it the target age is 55 to eliminate as much draw on the pension funds as possible. Tenure and performance don’t mean a thing but who is in the clique does. If you’re a boot li---r then you will not be offered, if you stir the waves you almost certainly will be. Hope that helps.
On that note, it's anyone able to speculate who/how they choose who to let go? In your experience, or from what you have witnessed with others - is it the more tenured people? High performers? Low performers? Lesser paid or higher paid? Newer folks? Is there any rhyme or reason to it, do you think, or just the luck of the draw?
They should, because older teammates are not going to quit over RTO like Truist wants.
About as much of a chance as satan winning a snowball fight. Why would they? They did that once and it was expensive, then would rather make you miserable and have you leave in your own.
