Based on my 5 years visiting this site, mods scrub posts on a regular basis, and I think that applies to all forums here, not just this one.
There is a high correlation between site’s rules violation and post deletion.
In short:

  • no PII (i.e. names, addresses, other personal info) - mentioning public figures such as c-suits is ok.
  • no threats, no bullying others, no vulgarities;
  • no derogatory speech (insults, racism, etc);
  • no spamming and trolling;
  • no political/religious/medical rants or similar off-topics, that gets deleted instantly.

Other than that, pretty much anything flies.

(I’m not the OP, I just copied that from an old thread)
