Anyone under a ton of micromanaging /scrutiny for low completion efficiencies beyond your control?

My manager cancelled our last two one on ones with no reason. Today I realized my manager cancelled the entire series. With the impending layoffs, should I be concerned I’m on the list?

A former coworker was laid off last year. I saw a post from him recently. He looks like a different person. Relaxed, smiling, actually happy. I'm not jealous exactly. Just aware that leaving changed something for him. I'm glad he got out.

Those "quick business update" meets should be either out by now or coming out soon.

The pay increases lately don’t come even close to match how expensive everything else has become. Think about it, we're effectively getting pay cuts instead of pay raises when you calculate in the increase in cost of living.
