When will other cities start RTO? It's not fair. We're suffering here in MN :( It's been nearly a year since the 4 days/week announcement was made and revoking remote status based on address for MN and DC. They've said they would likely be adding more office locations where 4 days a week will be mandatory however I've heard nothing besides for us stuck in MN and DC.

@OP my goodness... Su-ks yes, but suffering, suffering? Look around ! Suffering?
Move!
@b6 Several companies with RTO policies like these are full of it. You go in the office to sit alone then be in virtual meetings all day. Ridiculous! It’s also a control thing. Toxic.
@a4 Yes, this! Not good.
RTO is meant to drive attrition so they dont have to go through the process of RIFing more people.
If you need this job your only option is to comply.
If you think you can get another job, stop showing up and make them fire you.
DO NOT QUIT
I mean you chose to live there in a big city. I don’t really feel bad.
It really is the most inefficient and unproductive policy especially when you go in to sit on teams calls. I have no other team members in so they can’t put a blanket RTO policy in place and say it’s for collaboration. It’s about SH ego and control.
You can literally just not go in and dare them to fire you
The WARN act might be a factor. Neither Minnesota or Virginia have strict WARN act laws.
OP you have beta mentality. "I'm suffering so everyone else have to too!".
