Is there any employee rules that state Boeing employees that have company provided laptops must be logged on during work hours?

I can’t find any specific Boeing rules stating that. I’m asking because I have not logged on my computer during my shift for months now except for about five minutes before my shift ends to input my work hours. Our manager has been out for months on LOA for family reasons. If HR contacts me, I’m really not sure how they can due to my not reading or responding to any emails sent to me. If HR gets lucky getting a hold of me, I’m going to tell them there is no specific employee rules stating that I must be logged in my computer during my work hours. The Code of Conduct we are required to sign does not specifically state employees with company provided computers must be logged in throughout their working shift. So I believe I’m safe and not going to worry about it.

Charging employees for parking moving forward

Guess what, emails were out that employees who want to park at the office will start paying for parking, shortly after downgrading cubicle equipment to docks and monitors 10 years old.. that while Charlie gets his $40Million. Cheap tactics, did we hit the bottom of the barrel… well they will always find lower spots!

Last week I did not come into the office but worked from home all week. I didn't tell my manager either. Friday afternoon I got a email from HR

about a Tuesday morning Teams meeting they want to do with me and that I do not need to be in the office for this meeting. I have been thinking if they caught me or not. In any given week I may see my Ford manager once if at all when we pass each other in the hallway. Manager is away from our group a lot saying they have a lot of meetings to attend to in other buildings.
I'm not sure yet if I will do Tuesday's morning meeting with HR at my home or go into the office an do it there.

Comical or denial?

What I find comical is when someone tries to give people the heads up on this board and its often met with heckling and jeering. When the day comes shortly thereafter…..it gets all serious. The hecklers disappear and can’t be found, most undoubtedly combing the emails, group chats and personal texts to see if “it” is coming their way.

Did anyone receive the separation agreement for the mid Jan RIF?

I have been waiting for the doc more than 3 weeks since I was informed on the RIF in mid-January. I am not sure why it takes so long to send the standard Docu sign via email on the separation. I just want to make sure I am not the only one. Did anybody receive the separation agreement?

Bye Bye Company Cars

Legal counsel is currently evaluating the legality of the newly implemented vehicle program and is considering the initiation of a class action lawsuit. An email intake will be created for interested parties seeking to join the action. Comment if interested, so have an idea if we have the numbers.

Multiple Orgs getting Emails

It’s happening as many people projected tomorrow AM and probably Wednesday also. Stop asking what organization and for all the details. People are sharing what they can without exposing themselves. Bottom line is a lot of us are receiving emails for meetings. We’re sharing what we know. But the cuts are continuing. The layoffs are happening in waves based on your leadership and org and it’s not over.

I been working at Nike for 8 months now.

Is there any company polices stating I must be logged on my laptop while at work?
Last week I did not log on my computer one day while at work. I didn't notice anything unusual that day or did I receive any phone calls from anyone telling me they have not received a response to emails they sent me.

JC is going to be sadly and embarassingly destoryed when MAV isn't ready

I can't help but laugh at his emails these days... He is so out of touch with reality and how Dell REALLY is, it's just hilarious.

Pretty sure everyone got "his" email the other day talking about this "modernization" and how tools will be different and bla bla bla... For those who are oblivous, he is talking about Maveric. If you dont know what that is then, go to chatgpt.com and type in "Dell project maverick" or just search for the article DELL leaked to Business Insider...

Anywyas, he's going to be sorely dissapointed and infuriated when mav is NOT ready to go live in May - because it 100% won't be ready lmfao - but, to save face he will force it and all of Dell will be forced to use a half broken system, while mostly relying on old school tools that, you know.. work!

I can't even count the number of times they said DOMS was going away only for it to still be there for years on end...

How’s your department doing right now? Here’s what I see in “Marketing.”

The marketing function has become a factory for titles, acronyms, and unaccountable “strategy” that fails the only test that matters: measurable impact on claims, utilization, and outcomes. Too much work is optimized for decks, meetings, and vanity metrics—and not nearly enough is grounded in basic insurance fluency, network reality, or results you can defend in the data.

The org is so aggressively matrixed that responsibility evaporates. People “own” a narrow slice of a slice of a business, yet can’t clearly explain what they own, what the product actually is, what the acronyms mean, or how members are supposed to find in-network care. When ownership is that diluted, execution becomes guesswork and accountability becomes optional.

Meanwhile, member outreach is a chaotic pile-on. Digital sends emails. Marketing sends emails. MDLIVE sends emails. Express Scripts sends emails. There’s no single orchestrator, no shared plan, and no one accountable for the member experience end-to-end—just overlapping blasts and conflicting messages. Cigna doesn’t have a marketing organization; it has a fragmented broadcast system optimized for internal theater, not results.

Stankey Home Alone Show

Did everyone see the email John Stankey sent us this Thursday morning? There is a video link of him showcasing AT&T's accomplishments this year and imitating Home Alone at the same time.

How on earth does the CEO of a major Fortune 50 company have time to film and act for this stuff while RTO-ing to an office 5 days a week.
