Stock price at 46.26 now

Down roughly 2%, after first breaking the prior 52 week low at $47.01. Friday's close was $47.19.

Notable because the broader market is moving the opposite direction today. The Nasdaq was up about 1.5%, helped by falling oil prices and Treasury yields. So Fiserv's weakness continues to be company specific/relative underperformance rather than simply the market dragging it lower.

New market hubs are phenomenal

Recently hired in a new market hub, that's a huge step-up from some of the older stores around here! Team synergy is tops too, that sure helps.
If any of you is looking for positions, look for market hubs, you won't be disappointed. I can see why they want to open more of these. We have so much parts stocked as well, I didn't have to shoo away customers yet, such a great feeling

Right size our pay

When the staff drops the 5-7% based on industry average, hopefully Fidelity will also fix the pay issues.

My BU hasn’t given raises in the last 3 years and said it’s based on market pay. With inflation hitting 20% since the start of the pandemic, compensation should be reviewed again.

How does Abby expect people to care about her bottom line when people are on government assistance and can’t afford groceries?

What happened in Florida

I used to think Florida was considered a strong growth market for the bank. Seems like it collapsed after putting the short heavy set guy that looks like Alan from The Hangover in charge. Anyone have any insight into that market? Are there constant resignations? Noone wants to work there? What is going on?

Yesterday, Nike held to $37.00 by skin of its teeth!!!

I was suspecting that PK stepped in to buy to create support at that level. LOL JK

Today, NKE blew pass $37.00 as if it doesn't exist. And it comfortably found home at upper $36.00. That is if market will not turn south at the last hour of trading session.
So don't be surprised if ends the day at low $36.00

With Iran War, Trade War and Inflation as factor, I don't think anyone will step in and buy.

Nike is caught between rock and a hard place.

New American Funding Reduces Staff Due to Market Conditions

New American Funding has laid off 160 employees in its consumer direct division. This reduction is a direct response to current mortgage market conditions. Elevated interest rates have significantly suppressed refinance volume. The company stated the decision was made thoughtfully and responsibly to align operations with market realities. They expressed gratitude for the contributions of affected team members.

Disastrous strategy

I could not believe my eyes when I read the email yesterday from the leadership on new strategy. Dividing our markets into core, light and cross border will further weaken PP against Revolut outside US and Germany. And how long after Germans who travel outside and see everyone using Revolut decide to switch over themselves. This will weaken us against our competitors even further. I see share price and market share collapsing now to likes of Apple Pay and Revolut Pay.

Wells Fargo Analysts Turning Cautious on US Stocks

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-09-01/wells-fargo-analysts-join-jpmorgan-traders-in-turning-cautious-on-us-stocks?srnd=homepage-americas

"The bank’s analysts, led by Ohsung Kwon, the firm’s chief equity strategist, warn of “broad cautiousness” heading into September as investors grow increasingly anxious about the sustainability of the AI-investment bo-m. The team expects capital expenditure fears around the AI build-out to peak. However, they note, their sentiment indicator remains more positive than negative after a mid-August selloff."

With such deep competence around WF, who even doubts this.

I have no doubt that if his Kwon's recommendations are bad, they will be stacked ranked, IMd and fired.

Markets

If you’re considering a role on the Markets side, know what you’re walking into. The culture there isn’t just competitive, it’s dog-eat-dog, and it’s shaped by leadership that’s more interested in protecting itself than developing people. Too many of the “managers” running these teams are underqualified for the seats they hold, and they’ve built environments that reward toxicity because toxicity is what got them there.

Loyalty and tenure mean nothing. Years of contribution mean nothing. If you value a workplace with real accountability from the top down, look elsewhere.

Ackman lost faith in Hertz

This should tell you everything you need to know. One of the well known investors threw in the towel. Sold all his shares. This company is trash. If you have stock-you should follow suit. Rather than taking a further loss-sell!
