Tech issues related to merger, still happening

I was informed by a teller that many deposit accounts are flagged incorrectly as individual when they should be joint. She said this is a bug, left over from the merger. I went in to the branch because of a letter stating as much. What happened to "we will look at both BB&T and STI systems, evaluate which is best, and migrate to those systems"?


What’s happening?

Kelly boomerang here—back at HQ after a five-year family break. Honestly, I can’t get over how different this place feels now. Back then, we actually stood for something. The CEO cared, leadership had energy, humor, my boss was awesome, we were growing, i knew what we were selling, the cafeteria was hopping, the marketing guy had a cool eurotrash accent, a sales head with tattoos and a porsche, and people were proud to work here.

Now? It feels flat. No ideas, no spark. No ambition. Dull people acting like zombies. I ain’t inspired by Chris, Tammy, or anyone else right now.


Managers: are you forced to give 1 and 2 ratings?

I thought on 3M's previous 5-point scale, 4's and 5's had a quota (you couldn't give more than they told you, basically some % of your headcount), and 1's and 2's were a corrective action tool (not mandated in a group).

Is there a forced quota on 1's and 2's with Solventum's new 5-point scale?

This 3M post sounds like managers have to hand out low ratings, and they also switched back to 5 points.

Q4 Earning forecast.

Do you foresee the stock price to rebound with the last investment acquisitions but slow productivity?

1- cut guidance for remainder of the year and into 2026
2- seasonal slowdown. Lot of ppl out on people
3- org restructuring tolls which is happening now and it causes confusion often times, cutting projects half way through or affecting productivity. Even with the AI roadmap it brings conflict (overlapping across different orgs)
4- morale is down knowing incentives are poor. Usually 2% raise or maybe rsu worth 2k or less.(if you are eligible)
5- consensus for eps is already lower meaning that even good catalyst news wont help much.
6- our sheets are showing debts and lawsuits coming

I dont want to be pesimistic but Do you guys see any catalysts helping to rebound? Please tell me things to give us some hope about the tomorrow here.


Any layoffs in Kilby Fab (KFAB) or Design groups in the Forest Lane Building.

So for months I've seeing posts about layoffs of fab personal primarily in older and lower tier fabs.

Just curious, has anybody heard of layoffs or potential layoffs of people in the research groups in Kilby Fab (KFAB) consisting of a lot PhD's, or any of the design groups located in the Forrest Lane Building?


Class Action Lawsuit

Former employee seeking info about getting in on the lawsuit.. Obviously had service with EMO discount on both 3/30/24 and 7/12/24. Deadline to file is 12/18, what do I need to know and how do I ensure my settlement is as large as possible and comes straight from Stankey?
