ESPP

There was a time when partaking in the ESPP was a no-brainer. An immediate and minimum profit of 15% off the lower of the two semi annual corporate purchase opps. Those days are long gone. An employee comp perk that is no longer. Options are a close second in complete failure. The market is always a risk but nike stock has become one of the worst investments one can make (going back at least 3-4 years) and with no end in sight. Sad to be a shareholder. And to be an employee who relied on these benefits as part of their overall comp package.

Top 4 Executives Receive Compensation Agreements through 2029

So apparently the top 4 execs have received extensions of compensation agreements that would pay them through 2029 in the event of separation or acquisition, yet everybody else is being offered what? Three Months? Nothing to see here, move on. Remember we're an *All Weather Team". https://www.tipranks.com/news/company-announcements/cdw-expands-credit-facility-and-renews-executive-protections

Schulman should forfeit the entirety of the awarded compensation package and only be based on incentives.

Schulman should forfeit the entirety of the awarded compensation package and only be based on incentives. And cutoff Hans and Shankar show them both the door because why are these chaps continue to get paid and to receive benefits.

Bottom line as the Verizon Communications, Inc., share price cannot close over $40/share.

Hear my Bain idea to turn the ship around

Pay all employees in RSUs only. No base. No PSP. Only RSUs. Let’s see those slackers then.

Disclaimer: due to local regulations, EMEA folks will continue to get a symbolic €1/month base. Ba dum tiss.

JD, hit me up if you need a chief of staff in your next stint ;)

2 job offers - Dell vs another company… US

I have been trying to decide which job offer to accept and have been using this forum to try and understand salary structure and promotion opportunity. From what I can see, it seems like once you accept a job at Dell you are stuck with minimal pay increases unless you apply for a different internal role. Is that correct?

  • Am I best off pushing hard for my starting salary since it won’t change much?
  • Does the salary I’m offered impact colleagues yearly bonuses and pay increase?

  • Additionally, is there any other important information around salary I should know?

$145B surplus cashflow thru 2030?

Then why make the employees miserable rather them treating them as assets. This shows we have money, just not to spend on employees welfare and salaries.

Company Hours and OT?

Does anyone know when we are closed the next two weeks? If we are being asked to work do we get overtime pay or 2x for a holiday week? I asked my manager but didn’t get any response. I want to work OT as I could use the extra cash and it seems like this would be double pay. Can anyone tell me what the policy is?

401k going down

Asked my manager as a follow op with the 401k going down and what other total compensation costs there are projected to be in 2026. She was surprised that barely any people were asking about that, granted the area I work in is basically all women of the older demographic. Do a lot of the people just not care with all these cut’s happening?

Final 4 week severance check is less than my usual checks

Was part of the layoff and got the minimum 4 weeks severance. My final paycheck was today but it was a few hundred short than usual. With my understanding I thought 4 weeks severance meant 2 full pay periods.

Am I misunderstanding? This is how I had it in my notes:

Separation date is 11/12 and severance kicks in 11/13.

(I get early direct deposit 1 day early)

  • Paycheck 11/5/25 - for pay period 10/20 - 11/2
  • Paycheck 11/10/25 - for pay period 11/3 - 11/16, received this one early due final paycheck local regulations
  • Paycheck 12/3/25 - for pay period 11/17 - 11/30, first 2 weeks of severance
  • Paycheck 12/17/25 today - for pay period 12/1 - 12/14, last 2 weeks of severance

Auditor for coding pay. Layoffs?

I’m in coding and there is a coding auditor role open that I’m applying for. Can anyone share their pay amount if they are in this role. I am a coder for family practice at 36.53 (75k). I saw some posts about recent layoffs so not sure if that’s why this is open.

Thanks for anyone’s help.

Offer from Aramco - is it worth it?

Hi all. Been reading this forum while interviewing with Aramco and obviously the situation doesn’t look very promising. But I wanted to ask anyway even if to confirm my negative bias.
I’m in my early 30s, married, no kids. I live and work in Europe earning low 6 digits. I very quickly got to a place where further career progression is very difficult and even if achieved would mean a salary increase incomparable with the increase in hours and responsibilities. I don’t want to say the exact area just in case Aramco HR reads this forum.
The offer is in the 200-300k range. Net it will more than double my salary most likely. I’ll also spend a lot less because I live in probably the most expensive city in Europe where rent is crazy. Most people in the team (including the line manager) are either American or European. The plan would be to stay for a few years, save aggressively and come back to Europe. I know that life is Saudi is strange but I’m sure I’ll be able to survive a few years reading books, playing PS5 and travelling to Europe for holidays a few times a year. I understand that it’s possible for family to visit which would make things easier for me. I also think that in my area Aramco would look pretty good on the resume, and there’s actually an area in which I can grow professionally in Aramco simply because it’s part of the job.

Is this a realistic view given my goal and current position, or am I missing something?
