I know my role is being eliminated, given this isn't a mass layoff situation in my case, will the date definitely be a Tuesday? Or is that more of a general rule?

They are eliminating all of the TLs in practice management, giving them 60 days to find a new job in the firm with not many other details provided on what then. As many of us saw, once you were ISP’d there was no going back, you were black balled.

The leader of our team just disappeared, no good bye email, no thanks for all the hard work, nothing. Just gone. Her linkedin does not show Insight as her employer anymore, it did just last week. Tried to send an email last week and it just went into a black hole, or where ever her emails are now forwarded to. I think from reading other posts on here that she was terminated, no early retirement, just role eliminated I guess. Seems to be the main tactic used to put people out to pasture. Whack-ATTACK-Jack sure is making his markie mark. I'm not sure it's leadership being demonstrated here, just desperation to get the numbers in line to get a bonus and sure is devoid of any real strategy.

Getting fired is now like a subscription service with multiple cancellation tiers.

“Layoff” if they’re feeling honest.

“Restructuring” if they’re feeling corporate.

“Performance management” if they want you to blame yourself.

“Voluntary separation” if they want you to fire yourself.

“Attrition” if they want to pretend nobody actually did anything.

“Role elimination” if they want to make it sound like your job died peacefully in its sleep.

“Strategic realignment” if they want you to believe your career simply took a wrong turn.

“Workforce optimization” if they want to imply the workforce was somehow the problem.

“Doing more with less” if they want to give you three jobs and one salary.

“Organizational simplification” if they want fewer people doing twice the work.

At this point, the only thing being optimized is the dictionary definition of unemployment.

They don’t need an HR department anymore.

They need a thesaurus with a severance budget.

They are actively happening. They are steering non client-facing people into client facing roles. They need people to work in the branches. Right now it’s a gentle nudge. Next year, it’s going to be far more aggressive with additional role eliminations.

Next round will be layoffs focused on VPs of all levels and Directors of all levels. Any director with a small number of direct reports to be fired.

So let me get this straight. According to the VSP FAQ - Following the VSP, we do expect that we will need to make further restructuring decisions, and expect to notify anyone whose role is impacted by mid-August. NOW the ones who want to go have to wait it out till next year, but the ones who didn’t take or were not eligible for VSP could be let go? Please please make this make sense? How? And why?

Just let go a lot of small business Specialist and the ones they are keeping are called something else now. That entire role is going virtual in the future...just FYI. For now they are thinning the herd.

Wealth is going to have few more changes . Many grade8 s will take up g7 roles and many g8/9s will be let go . They should merre wealth with brokerage

Anyone here if Regional Construction are going to be laying off specialists? Just heard today that starting in September, CMO will be doing all Admin tasks (Construction Activation, As-Built, FIR, Etc.) on all Residential jobs (SDU/MDU) and Specialist will be doing all admin tasks for Commercial jobs. Concerning as we have many people that are 100% Resi and now if they do 0 admin work what are they going to be doing or needed for?

The week it's going down apparently. Directors+ targeted again and several other Tech Dev roles will be eliminated completely. Plus an additioanl saving's target that will reduce the remaining head count.

Massive changes for Portfolio SEs coming. Essentially generalists won’t exist any more.

This wasn’t a mass layoff like the one in January, but a few one offs occurred today. My manager and our 2 leads had their roles eliminated today, we were told the news at 4:30pm. Only thing the AVP said was their roles had been eliminated after a thorough review of everyday duties. As if we weren’t already short handed, now the rest of us will be drowning.

Anyone who's actually used AI knows it's not replacing humans. Some highly specialized, deterministic models can enhance the work, that's all. Most of the time, it's just a convenient excuse to offshore or cut roles.

The Westwood District recently approved its budget. The total budget for the upcoming school year is $78.9 million. This plan eliminates 10 teaching and secretarial positions. Four administrative roles were also cut. These measures address increasing health insurance expenses.

Too much fluff for roles that don’t directly add to revenue generated and the bottom line, and hence must be cut.

Nothng destroys credibility faster than eliminating a role and then reposting it a few months later. With this being said, I am actually glad they cut me as I'd have difficult time staying here

The other post misread the email so clarifying here. They are consolidating roles outside of phk and itc INTO PHK and ITC. This does not mean no PHK cuts, it just means that they are not necessarily going to cut all or even the majority of the 1400 roles in PHK.

Is it true that LRs are coming for USC sales and engineering roles for ODs, SSEMs, RMs, SEMs, AEs and SEs. If so, nominate our HGO SSEM as he is incompetent and has no interpersonal skills. He should not be a people leader.

Oracle Corp. employees received layoff emails. These emails arrived on March 31. The communication stated their positions were eliminated. This action is part of a broader organizational change. The exact number of affected workers remains unknown.

Have most regions already started to get rid of the BCR role? Our facility is one of three that have not switched in our state yet, but it is coming sometime this year I heard.

They’re combining and eliminating some roles at the sites. Mainly in maintenance and quality from what I know. Maintenance planners is one.

I've heard that the beauty merchandiser positions at many stores are being cut. I don't know exactly how true this is throughout the company, but it is certainly true for our store. Our beauty merchandiser was moved to another position, and the beauty merchandiser position was cut. From what I heard, the position may still exist at a small number of stores, but that most of the positions are being cut.

Again, this is just what I have heard. If you have more information, please post it to inform others. I just wanted to give everyone, especially current beauty merchandisers, a heads up just in case.

Anyone know how many roles currently in Midland will be eliminated or moved to Houston this year and in the upcoming years per company plan and reorg plans?

Roles are being eliminated to be replaced with India later this year. US teams being eliminated to be replaced by India later this year and 2027. That’s the signal to leave.
