Town and Country Network Operations Center is seeing layoffs as of this morning, no word yet of how many. The Maryland Heights office had at least 9 layoffs
just asking.. and if did, do you have to relocate or etc/etc/ , the more details, the better, like location, full time or part time, contractor or permanent, government or private, if government, which branch..
I see many peers moving to CA for other jobs , regardless what it is , the state have more jobs than here..
USAA went from being a decent to a horrible place to work in the last few years. I'm ready to move on, and it'd be even better if they paid me to do so.
Say a mass layoff happens next week like it did back in 2015. Will the meetings where they break the news to people be over Zoom? Will there be a room option and a Zoom option tied to the meeting. I’m just trying to picture how this will all work given our hybrid model, as that obviously wasn’t a thing they really had to worry about back in 2015. I honestly hope it’s just a Zoom call. Sounds less traumatizing lol
I was laid off in August under John Blanchard's Org. Does T-Mobile consider those laid off as priority compared to someone that's external and fresh?
Got the severance payment. What if I don't return the laptop & keep it? Can they come after me? Lets just say its not a brick/locked out.
Hospital workers protested outside the University of California at San Francisco, or UCSF, Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland this past Friday in response to 38 layoffs announced Oct. 6. The rally organized by California Nurses Association, or CNA, and University Professional and Technical Employees, or UPTE, drew about 50 people at peak.

I learned the hard way that relocation doesn’t mean job security. I uprooted my life, sold my home, and then I got laid off a few months later. It’s cruel, honestly. Dell acted like moving was a sign of commitment, but apparently that commitment only goes one way.
What time would they send the meeting invite out by on the day of the layoff? I heard the mtg will be at 8:30 but what time will we see the actual meeting come through to our calendars
I was put on the Booz Allen Bench at the end of August. It wasn't even two weeks before I received what they call at Booz Allen a lack of work notice, with a layoff date clearly stated.
While on the bench, I applied to five internal jobs, and I was turned down for all of them.
None of the hiring managers or recruiters ever contacted me regarding the jobs. You just receive a rejection form letter type of email that su-ks stating you are not being considered for the job you applied to. I had even stated on my resume I submitted to the five jobs I applied to, that I was on the bench, including stating my layoff date. Before my layoff last week, the five people hired to fill these positions had already started their first day with the company. I read these people's profiles', and they were all hired from outside the company. If you have a layoff notice in hand, you are not given any consideration to fill an internal position at Booz Allen. I'm not sure what people reading this think, but it sure told me heck of a lot about Booz Allen while personally experiencing the drama hiring managers and recruiters pull on people.
Can anyone who has been laid off or taken the package shed some light on what they plan to do with their 401k after their end date?
Company must be falling apart, they want to make sure people don't get paid for Thanksgiving the next week (monsters) Got to ensure BH gets all $40M
Hi Y'all, I know I am the worst thing that has ever happened to this once great firm. I know I am bringing the worst leaders the business world has to offer in and giving them GP payouts from day one instead of rewarding the long-tenured associates who have helped build this firm to what it once was before I took over the reigns. I know I personally brought in DC, the most cringeworthy leader in the history of the world. I know I am not qualified to lead a group of first graders on a school field trip. I know I have lost the trust and respect of everyone at the firm, including those closest to me even if they smile at me while I am in the room. But, please grant me grace. I only have a few more years until I age out of my position. That means I only have a few short years of attaining my vision of cashing annual checks in excess of $29 million while cutting people making $50,000 per year and deciding which utility bill to pay this month. You people do not understand how tough of a position I am in. This is about me and how you can serve me, oh and the firm, don't forget about the firm, oh and the clients, can't forget about the clients, I guess (McKinsey, am I saying that right?). Remember, this is not about you and your lives. You are just cogs in the bigger picture of allowing me and my husband to fulfill our dream of running a Fortune 500 company that has excelled for over a century into the ground and then taking a golden parachute as I leave a trash heap for those who remain. Please grant me grace. It is tough when I see someone knowing they secretly hate me. The rest of the associates at the firm have it so easy. You guys show up everyday, do a great job, treat people with respect, and have integrity. You guys are respected. You do not know what I have to deal with being not only not respected, but despised. So, please grant me grace as you sit in your unheated house because you cannot pay the power bill this month. My life is tough. You little people will never understand how tough my life is. Ok, I have to go now. I have another summit to attend while wearing an airbrushed blazer speaking to branch associates because I am afraid to address home office associates now. I have to practice pulling the wool over people's eyes who are not in the home office and may not know what is going on. Remember, "We are all One Edward Jones (well, until I lay you off and give your job to someone in India)!
Had layoffs on the manufacturing floor yesterday, mostly some old timers looking for a package.
Can somebody PLEASE state if they've started notifying people already or if the layoffs will start sometime next week or at some other point in the future? The lack of available information is stressing me out, to put it mildly.
I like to drink beer while working.
Not trying to stir it up but someone outside of Chevron was told by a Chevron insider that there’s another layoff coming soon. Anyone else heard the same?
Trolls bug off.
fun fun......
Restructuring Budget (FY 2026): Up to $1.6 billion
Implied Layoffs: ~10,000 – 20,000 employees (depending on mix of roles and regions)
Early FY 2026 confirmed layoffs: ≈ 3,000 – 5,000 publicly reported so far
Remaining reductions likely spread through late 2025 and 2026 as part of Oracle’s AI-driven reorganization and cost optimization efforts.
Had long talk with my VP. Confirmed large cuts and outsourcing 2026. Budgets close to final 2026 but churn still and earnings. I am probably safe he emphasized LBT wants radical change but feels most old timers are lost entrenched and beyond change ability. Losers. Bringing in new talent at top level and at every single level. Expect focused effort at removing all managers directors VPs which are not top 25% and not Dee technical Same with Gr9 and Gr10 Eng who haven’t implemented or wrote specs in years. get rid of PowerPoint professionals.
Going to be a wild ride. 2025 looks like minor change to what is ahead.
Are there going to be layoffs at the local O&Os?
I was let go in May - Reduction in Force, and now a recruiter not from CVS has called me regarding the same position - this is in Procurement - Toxic
Barnhart folks (Hillsboro, Oregon) got an email today reminding us that WF will be exiting the location before the end of the year. Standard take your stuff home/update your contact info. The end is near.
I have a feeling that announcing layoffs then making us wait and not saying when is intentional. They're creating a stressful atmosphere where everybody is constantly worried and some might even decide to quit if it goes on for too long. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid, but it feels intentional.
does anyone have any details about the so called "co-sourcing" venture HPE is planning with Deloitte in Romania? All I'm thinking it's a masked lay-off. HR announced Global Finance and Accounting Organization will move to Deloitte as part of a co-sourcing venture between the two companies. Considering if you get an offer to move you'd have to resign from HPE and then start on a probationary period with Deloitte, why does this seem like the perfect scheme to avoid paying compensations for layoffs?
I got the email today at 4:41pm from my VP to work remote and that my building access has been restricted. With the subject line “ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE” bs. Also I’m in EOT division. Never thought they would let an associate II level go instead of a higher role. I’m pretty numb right now. I never experience a layoff before. Anyone else got axed?

Anyone has an update on what's going on regarding the rumored Q4 "clean up" - rumors r flying
Anyone knows if there will be cuts in Q4 and also what's happening with the contractors, are they getting extended and what about 2026?
I’m sorry to disappoint you again. One lonely former team member was displaced yesterday.

How do you think we will be impacted by layoffs.
Can anyone share when is the next layoff? Is this a monthly activity?
Heard about opex freeze - should we expect more layoffs ?
I’m hearing conflicting info about what the severance package will be for the upcoming layoff population. Will it be the same as those who decided to leave?? Feels wrong to give ppl who decided to leave the same as ppl who actually still want their jobs. And specifically the insurance/COBRA. Will it be subsidized thru to the end of the severance term?
Layoff at Trane in Bloomington, MN today.
and i'd say no layoffs in last 10 years
But the whole industry is turning upside down due to tech and ai and some new sofware, so less work is required. It's not good that we are losing good jobs because of tech and this affects all companies in this space regardless of size and location, not only Higginbotham.
Did you guys recently have layoffs in SF? If yes, how many people were let go and what kind of severance payment was provided to the employees??
Now that layoffs are starting when we hear on policy changes
