I've been gone .John....

Thank god I retired a couple of years ago. I milked the company for everything I could. The benefits have now been gutted by a greedy CEO. Now you are processed by AI when trying to do your job. Stankey looks at employees like a data stream. He sees employees as a drag on the company and not a positive. This guy has done more to destroy T than any of his predecessors. This guy is 20ish stock CEO loser I would say.

Morale issues

most teams understaffed, then on top of that MLRP PIP and insulting feedback from those who know nothing about the subject matter every year, depressing campus environment, constant turning employees against eachother all for 1-2 % hikes, what is the point? who is actually doing any work? is any work needed? then constant quitting of people, constant hiring, no stability, manager changes ,role changes org changes , staffing process change, polaris change, this change that change — how are we all just pretending this is normal? where are the human leader voices?

my life after intel

just joined the best tech company and they gave me a stanley, as a gift. had a flashback about how right after joining intel i wanted similar stanley from intel store and asked my manager to gift it for me one day, and he said "you can forget about it, we are not even gonna gift you a fu--ing pen". can confirm that during all those years of service, indeed, not even a pen(ny)

We at STCB are worried and uncertain about our future. Like many others, we come here simply to look for clues, information, and perspectives about what might happen—not to disturb or upset anyone.

We are all trying to understand what the future may hold during an uncertain time. Please be kind and understanding toward one another.

Employee Perks

As if our benefits in the US aren’t insulting enough, I just learned about the perks given to India.

Samsung discounts
Relocation assistance
Day care
Apartments and hotels
Salary accounts
Percentage of home loans waived
Restaurant discounts
Meal cards
Interest on their direct deposit at 6.60%

Meanwhile, in the US, we get measly discount to a museum.

Garbage company.

If you work at IBM, understand this: you are a target

The moment you make more than your coworkers, you're on the radar. Seniority doesn't protect you, it does the opposite, it makes you more expensive and more vulnerable. I've seen it happen to people who dedicated years to this company. They were paid for their experience, and that's exactly what made them a target.

Hot take: One Cisco was a great corporate value

Now that One Cisco is dead and the era of "Cisco is not a family" is upon us I have to wonder what Cisco could have been like if we had kept our values. The amount of backstabbing and sabotaging and general toxic shittiness that has become normal in the last year or so is baffling.

We were so much more productive and collaborative in the One Cisco era. Instead I'm hearing my management chain talk about cutting certain teams out of the development process. I'm seeing managers lie about agreements in their EC decks in order to steal headcount from other teams.

We're in a cultural death spiral and I don't see anyone fighting the good fight anymore.

The astounding inadvertent hypocrisy of our leadership

We just had the marketing town hall where Kellyn blathered on and on about how great everything was, how much everyone told her they loved the latest market based BS and how we should do those surveys ASAP.

Then she “interviewed” the new VP of digital who moved from Utah to Dallas. Nice enough guy but he mentioned how awful the traffic is in Dallas. Wouldn’t even notice it most of the time but I thought we worked for a company that provides fantastic connectivity services that allow you to collaborate without having to sit in traffic every day. Kellyn and co. sm--k you over the head with this connection cr-p all the time, so you would think we would I don’t know, live that purpose?

It shouldn’t by now, but the hypocrisy of our leaders just never ceases to amaze me. How they can continually sing the praises of products, services and messages they clearly don’t believe in and keep a straight face is quite a feat.

Linkedin post 🤢🤢

Someone just took a pic with our CEO and posted this... And it got1000+ likes... honestly surprised since I vomit in mouth just on the first paragraph 🤢

Today was one of the highlights of my 27-year career at ExxonMobil Baton Rouge. I had the opportunity to hear Darren Woods speak with employees and, as an added bonus, spend some time with him during a safety demo in the field. I was even fortunate enough to take a picture with him, something I'll remember for a long time.

What stood out most was his authenticity, transparency, and willingness to engage directly with employees. His answers to our questions were thoughtful, candid, and reaffirmed why I am proud to be part of this company.

One statement that particularly resonated with me was: "Not here to advise. Not here to consult. We are here to deliver." That mindset reflects what I've experienced throughout my career and why I remain passionate about the ... Blah blah...

Kim Weakley 33 Years and 9 Months Later

After 33 years and 9 months with Wells Fargo, Kim Weakley is leaving, roughly a year after being appointed an executive.

Andrew Freymann inherited Kim and, in my opinion, made a good call. Under Kim, the culture often felt like “my way or the highway,” and there was a perception that certain people in her organization were protected from accountability.

Now the attention turns to the leadership structure she leaves behind, especially the San Antonio CSM organization. New leadership should mean new expectations and real accountability, not the same culture with different names.

After all these years, this could finally be the reset the organization needs.

Does anyone actually want WF to be successful?

This should be the next survey question. Why would you wish WF success? The bank's very publicized plan for success blatantly excludes thousands of US employees, after ruining or at least significantly disrupting tens of thousands of careers eo Tuesday for the past 5-7 years. They dont want you to work here any more.

Why would you, after all of the gaslighting, the fake reviews, the micromanaging office time down to 5 minute increments, the soon-to-be-increasing RTO requirements,

"Together we'll go far.......but not with you!"

Go ahead and downvote me, bootlickers! this is the truth and you all know it

The worst of the worst

I've been in the workforce for a long time and I've seen plenty of bad cultures, but Fiserv takes the crown. The disrespect, the exhausting politics, and the fact that nobody seems to care about basic human decency take the cake. What a horrible place to work this turned out to be.

Concerned Parent and Prominent Member of the Community

I just very recently found out that you laid off our daughter for some kind of fake intelligence software?!

Do you know how much it cost us to send her to school for that train and how hard she worked to get her degree.

She has worked for your organization for over a decade and now you throw her away like a piece of trash?!

What in the world is going on over at this company?!
