Any truth to the rumor posted here a few weeks ago that all freelance employees are being let go in one swoop? That can’t be true, can it?

Mid-Level Reporting / Your job can easily be automated = Not
Band 6 and above (5 to C-Wing) = Nope
Not safe means up to 25-40% reduction.

Security at Home Office
It appears as if security at Home Office is being more aggressive lately. We have been told to report anyone who we do not recognize on our floor immediately to firm security. We have also been told to not hold the door open for anyone after we have badged into the building and/or onto our floors. Is there a security concern at Home Office that anyone knows about that we may need to know about? Is the Home Office safe to work at?

Is there risk?
One of the questions asked was: is there risk of bankruptcy, assuming this spouted from someone who heard one of the many 3rd party analyst saying there is a high risk of such an event.
The answer from SB was: Absolutely not, as long as we execute.
A great follow up would have been; Is there risk of not executing going forward? Looking back we’ve had 12 quarters of not executing, what changed?

Who else is irritated that subsurface is taking their sweet time with this reorg? All the other upstream groups seem to be done and yet we have to wait until the end of the week because AF wants it.
The structure was bad before but it doesn’t seem like it’s getting any better.

Spoke to a customer today who has had a support ticket opened for months now... support and our product development have basically told him that they don't have the time to address his issue. Meanwhile the issue is a known problem which is effecting multiple customers. Cant share much more but all I can say is how do you expect to market and sale a product if we cant even support it ourselves?
Are we sure there'll be no surprise rounds before the end of the year?

Because it 100% was not performance. We lost two teammates who were among the best, and we have a few who could/should have been laid off instead and are still here. It really su-ks knowing that hard work will not protect you in situations like this. What's even the point then?

Just look at the view counts, no other company has so many views and we are much smaller than other banks. I am suspecting they are sending bots to monitor everything that's being said here and they are reporting this up. It's sick just like everything else this exec group does.
