Knox County Faces Union Complaint Regarding Jail Layoffs

The National Correctional Employees Union filed a complaint against Knox County. The union alleges the county failed to negotiate over jail layoffs. The county reduced the jail workforce from 22 to eight full-time workers. It also outsourced inmate housing and replaced kitchen staff with a private company. The union seeks an order for the county to bargain in good faith and stop anti-union acts.

Consumer Affairs and BBB

Both sites are filled with complaints about denied claims, inabilty to understand customer service agents, and poor service from Centerwell pharmacy and inability to get resolutions of complaints. Not that C-suite cares but they should care about retention of members. Or has Rechtin forgot that without members Humana doesn’t exist? I would like to see our retention rates before he came on board compared to now. Rechtin needs to go. The rodent needs to go.

Marketing emails

Is anyone else receiving marketing emails (who is not a customer) and unable to locate an unsubscribe link on the email? I have been searching and cannot locate it anywhere. I closed my accounts quite some time ago and still getting spammed. The fact that I don’t have an option to unsubscribe is bugging me. Does anyone know how to stop the spam?

Springfield Union Files Labor Complaint Against School District

The Springfield Education Association filed an unfair labor practice complaint. It accuses Springfield Public Schools of using mid-year layoffs to disrupt negotiations. The district laid off 27 teachers and reduced two to part-time in January. The union seeks reinstatement for affected employees and financial penalties. Springfield Public Schools stated it cannot comment on ongoing legal matters.

XOM Corrupt HR

I filed a complaint with HR against my horrible manager last December and never received a response. I followed and still heard nothing.
Last week, during my 1:1 with him, I told him I had tolerated enough and confronted him about favoritism, dishonesty, improper practices, and unethical behavior. A couple of days later, HR suddenly scheduled a private meeting on my calendar.
In that meeting, they told me not to discuss the matter with anyone and said the investigation was about my interaction with my manager that happened on Monday. When I asked why no one ever reviewed the complaint I submitted four months ago, they gave vague excuses. I then pointed out that the same HR representative interviewing me now was the one assigned for the case I opened months ago...Because I’m not in management, they ignored my complaint. HR is useless...

Is it worth sending in a complaint to the OCC?

The OCC encourages people that work at a covered bank to file a complaint when they believe that bank is not adhering to a consent order. Over the past year there have been Compliance, KYC, and Risk credit approvers let go. Those were the exact areas the CO said Citi had to strengthen. Just not sure filing complaint will make any difference. Or maybe worthwhile just to give Citi a headache???

Seems things got messy in Col

Just FYI, heard a customer service rep there sent a mass email to upper management accusing two managers of abusing their power - from being disrespectful in meetings to falsely accusing and writing them up to protect themselves.
It seems the rep asked to be transferred out of fear of retaliation, but nothing happened, so they escalated it and said they’ll keep emailing until someone responds.

(no names, please, mods could nuke the whole thread)

People solutions more like people problems

I have lost track of the number of times I have witnessed misconduct from hr/people solutions. Their sole purpose is to protect management/c-suite at all costs. Don't waste your time with them. Ignore the bad behavior until you can't take it anymore and decide to take your talents elsewhere.

Wells Fargo HR department received complaint that employees or contractors are performing multiple jobs during Office hours

Please be aware that Wells Fargo is reviewing employment records in the background to ensure that no employees or contractors are working multiple jobs in violation of company policy.

The HR department has already initiated the background‑check process and is expected to take action soon

BOOSTing BOOST??

Give me a break. dont keep trying to sell me on this pile of cr-p. I takes forever to get through to talk to a person, and then they start quizzing me on my mobile phone service? NO...dont even! I tell em I use a soft phone on my TRS80, that confuses them.

Someone tell engineering to put back the old color scheme, the new one is horrible

Cosmetic hours being used for the backend of Belk

Has anyone noticed the cosmetic hours that are partially paid for from Clinique and Estee Lauder being used for the backend of the store? They will schedule someone without letting them know usually they can't get in to the reflexes so it's a no show then those hours are diverted to other areas anyone eles notice this in other Belk stores? It's been reported but nobody does anything to them.

Overseas agents are trash

Anyone actually call ethics hotline before ?

Have a situation and have not had annual review yet, but pointed out unethical, immoral and possible illegal acts of our executive to my manager and their one up manager late in year.... sent via email and of course nothing was responded to in writing but called me back via teams and was told to never send something like that via email again..

I think I might be rewarded with inconsistantly meets or do not meets because of these actions...

Anyone have any experience reporting something like this?

Eager beaver and toxic manager posts

Is there a way to report such cases to anyone without any serious consequences???

It's frustrating how managers are blatantly using these tactics.

I am in a similar situation where this new person who have no access to system whatsoever, is suddenly been asked to "take the lead"

Employee Benefits for 2026

Has anyone submitted claims for the current year yet? Aside from paramedical services being reduced to a $1,000 maximum (for those with Core+Plus coverage), health supplies coverage has also been reduced from 100% to 90%. Some prescription coverage has been reduced to 50% as well.

At this point, signing up for Core+Plus feels useless — I’m paying higher premiums than last year but getting fewer benefits. Maybe, employees should have just enrolled in extended coverage directly with Sun Life.

P.S. Not sure if all employees received the email from Canada Benefits last December. A system configuration issue was identified that caused lower-than-intended health deductions in 2025. It only took them a year to discover the discrepancy. Seriously?! I’m starting to wonder if it’s becoming an annual tradition for the BA Payroll team to mess up our pay deductions.

Survey tickets

Everyone needs to stop giving Level 2 IT a 5-star rating, when unwarranted, on the customer feedback surveys. This is not helping the cause and will not lead to any sort of change from vendor management. This is just showing they can continue to get away with sh---y service with no repercussions. Give them the true score they deserve. Tell them how they are rude, how it took 2 weeks to get a power cord shipped to you, how it took 3 days for someone to intially call, and how it took dealing with 4 people before you were finally fixed. Enough is enough. Stop sugar coating the problem!!
