Long story short, employee sent complaint about their manager (ED) to HR. MD doesn't gaf. End of story.

True story. HR and EAP protects the bad managers at all costs.
Do not be that fool submitting complaints through the bank approved channels. HR Ethics departments are setup for trapping employees. They will just gather all details and make sure you get fired.
Be a whistleblower. Gather all evidences and submit to press USCIS, DHS, DOL etc.. It is difficult to fire you if you have proper evidence and while the case is in courts.
Racism, Discrimination, Favoritism, Caste....all kind of immoral activities must be reported.
