People leader just got an e-mail saying notifications will come out in waves throughout the day

No emails as of yet, its 7:17 an EST here. As expected.

It feels like the first day of school! I can’t wait to login and see that email!

I know VSP will be followed by layoffs, and I'm guessing it's going to happen within weeks. I'm wondering if it's true that the majority of those laid off in past rounds are people who've been with the company for years, or even decades?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they pulled the rug from under us once again when we least expect it, considering how badly this whole thing has been handled so far.

Does anyone have any insight on how they have handled previous reorgs? Do they assign you to a new role? Are you given options? Do you have to reapply? Is it simply this is your new position starting this date or you can leave?

Does anyone know the meeting title that is used for a layoff meeting? Also, who typically sends these out? Is it from HR or your people leader?

What can those of us do that are feeling like we are being retaliated against for taking the VSP route. I do care about my job and I want to leave on good terms.

We have so many rumors and so few details. It'd be great if we started getting proper information instead of just little scraps.

I am just amazed at how people leaders and the uppers have applied for the VSP. Like what do they know that we don't?

Was told by HR/VSP line that no one has been sent an approved VSP package yet. How did some of you know you were approved when HR is saying no approved emails have been sent out?

There were so, so, so many better ways do do this. Ways that wouldn't have half of us on Xanax just to get through this with our mental health intact. Who decided to do it this way should be fired immediately.
