I never received my email yesterday so called the VSP hotline number today. They kept me on hold for 30 minutes only to tell me they don't see any information on whether my VSP request is approved or denied. They said they will open a case and someone will reach out to me within 5 business days. Has this happened to anyone else?

How the he-l are we supposed to leave Oracle if companies are rescinding offers a day before people are supposed to start? Someone posted about accepting a role back in February. He did the paperwork, got the start date, told his family, gave his notice and then they rescinded it eight days later. No explanation, just sorry. How is anyone supposed to plan their life when this can happen?

I bet 95% of people do not know and HR is happy that the employees don’t know. So if you are seeking a job and think HR will help you, then get ready for your only contact method to be…. “a ticket”.

For someone who is told to seek another job because their current post is going away soon.

What does it mean if when they apply to an internal job posting, it gets rejected almost immediately?
No reason given. Hiring manager does not respond.

Are these roles genuinely open, or are they being posted as a formality after someone has already been selected? I have applied to several and have not received any real response or feedback. What's going on here?

When applying for a job, the recruiter doesn't respond to emails - even after they specifically said to let them know if we didn't hear from the job interviewer after one week?

It’s honestly disheartening. You’ll see job postings with over 1,700 applicants, sometimes just two days after going live.

So many ghost jobs. So many ghosting recruiters.

And when you do get an interview, the bias and racial discrimination bingo card fills up fast.
