Are there any CSC employees still left in the USA?

I worked for the CSC and got JE last year. I could tell it was coming because a lot of our work was being moved to India and they were lying to the employees about it. The customers started complaining because of the language barrier and general lack of knowledge of these overseas agents. Does anyone knows the current status of the CSC? Are there any employees still left in the USA or is it entirely in India now?

L3Harris Technologies reorganizing, spinning off and selling out?

So, reduced to 3busin units from 4. The new structure is as follows: Space & Mission Systems (SMS), Communications & Spectrum Dominance (CSD), and Missile Solutions (MSL).
And then MSL spins off at least 40% of itself as a sorta stand alone IPO. And the former SAS unit is outsourcing work like crazy.
What's really happening folks?

Project Omni

So Kyndryl very secretively initiated Project Omni to displace US workers with ones in low cost countries like India. Someone got a whiff of it, and the project was shutdown. The resources hired/shortlisted for Omni are now being accommodated to other projects where the demand is.
Another day at Kyndryl…

Read this if you’re a client or employee

Jones has a proud legacy…100+ years of being a truly client and associate oriented firm. As an associate of this firm who has also had extensive experience outside of the firm, I can confidently say THESE DAYS ARE OVER, and I highly recommend reconsidering your affiliation with this firm.

What happened? It’s not a unique story to EJ, but the downfall has been swift and it’s rooted in one phrase: Failed Leadership.

Back when Penny was appointed Managing Partner in ‘19, the MP talent bench was already weak to begin with - she and Ken C were the only viable choices the firm had internally and there was no appetite to go outside. If I had to chose from that lineup, I would have taken Penny any day and twice on Sunday - as Ken C has no business leading a function, let alone the entire firm.

On its face, the choice of Penny wasn’t entirely terrible - she is intellectual, well spoken, been an advisor, broad based in the firm’s business - and the first female MP. And she dresses to impress, of course!

But Penny’s weakness was on full display in her track record - picking talent around her. This would be a knockout gap for a CEO candidate in any company, let alone one leading a business transformation.

Over the next 5 years, this gap became amplified in a massive way:

She kept inept legacy leaders in key roles - Ken C, Lisa D and KJ among them - allowing them pull her into their own ineptitude. She promoted truly horrible talent like Andy M, Suzan M who are small time at best. And she hired some outside talent like Hasan and David C that while intellectually strong, were “scratch and dent” leaders in their prior companies - deemed not promotable because of narcissistic or egotistical behavior. And that says a LOT at places like Citi or Goldman.

Bad leadership ki-ls companies. If you are a client, consider the decisions being made affecting you and your money:

  • Raising fees you are paying to line the pockets of greedy executives
  • Sending your personal information overseas as part of outsourcing projects to drive higher profits
  • Treating employees and branch teams who handle your money and services like they are second class citizens - including not paying market wages.
  • Technology that doesn’t work half the time and that your branch teams are helpless to fix

If you’re an associate, you feel the impact of this leadership everyday - the visceral disdain ELT members demonstrate for you as associates. You’ve heard it directly from David C’s mouth in town halls - but it’s even more evident in action: Pathetic wages/benefits; targeting firings of anyone who dares to challenge; promotions for toxic but loyal leaders; poor quality front line managers. The disdain is so strong that some say it feels like ELT places the blame for their own failures on the backs of associates. The paradigm is that associates are entitled, overpaid and underworked.

The company is not bankrupt financially, but I can assure you that it is from a leadership perspective. Rest assured one will blend with another over time.

I sincerely hope if you are a client or an employee that you reconsider your affiliation with Edward Jones - for your own good.

Allina’s Days Are Numbered

Had our monthly meeting with the VP of RCM today and in the name of “being transparent” we were told they are looking into which roles can be offshored and actively doing testing for it.

Between 6 and 9 months from now we may or may not be getting notified that we’re being redeployed, but we don’t need to worry because they will give us an ample amount of time.

In the meantime, we’re instructed to check out MyPath!

Dear leadership team

To the esteemed leadership of Chevron,

Let's cut through the corporate bullsh-t for a moment. Your recent memo about "strategic workforce restructuring" is a masterpiece of cowardly doublespeak. You're outsourcing our jobs to India for pennies on the dollar, then you have the gall to force the survivors into a four-day-a-week office commute, all while feeding us the steaming pile of horsesh-t that it's "for collaboration." It's not for collaboration. It's so you can flex your shrinking empire in person while you systematically gut the American workforce that built your fortune. The only thing more pathetic than your transparent greed is the insultingly stupid lie you're using to justify it. You don't care about your people, you don't care about synergy, and you clearly don't have a single functioning brain cell between the entire lot of you. We all know what you're really like when the sun goes down—a gaggle of closeted, si--y lady-boys prancing around in secret, desperate for an outlet because your public-facing personas are as hollow and fake as your promises. So you can take your RTO mandate, your outsourcing plans, and your entire board of directors, and shove them straight up your collective as--s. Go fu-k yourselves.

Dear Mr. President..

Dear Mr. President,

I am reaching out to you today to share with you, my story. I work for The Cigna Group as a programmer. Last month Cigna decided to terminate 100's-1000's of our Doctors, Nurses and talented technology employees - Recently Cigna agreed to pay a 600-700M "charge" and has decided to terminate 7,000-15,500 full time employees and offshore their work investing heavily in a new "Hyderabad Innovation Hub" "HIH located in India. They think terminating and eliminating US workers to pay for David Cordani and Cigna's Executive leaderships poor decisions is acceptable.

Recently I have begun learning AI automation and wanted to share my idea how to protect America's work force from Outsourcing and offshoring our jobs to other countries. I think if you were to post draft of an Executive Order or a new article on TS saying my administration is reviewing options to create a new executive order protecting American Patriots work force, stating if Corporations like Cigna plan to move US workers "jobs" to India or other foreign counties they should plan on paying HUGE new tariff\tax or fee on the US healthcare data that originates in the US to be sent overseas. Expecting US Patriots to train the offshore company to "Transform, Manipulate, Re-Work" the data and then send it back to Cigna (or other corps in the US) to then send to their clients like the NFL, Disney and Amazon - they should plan on paying a new ridiculous amount of money to be allowed to do this. It's not just Cigna it's all corporations are doing this and if we do not take actions to stop it - I predict we will lose Half of the US jobs in the next 3-5 years. It's a Major Threat to the US economy and imagine if we lose half the current federal tax income and Social Security will fail. Imagine half of America unemployed with no work homeless living in the streets - a real AI generated "GREAT DEPRESSION" is on the horizon.

I am not saying it should be illegal for corporations to offshore, but I think if they want to use AI Agents Modules and Tools to replace the American work force, they should have to do it located in the US with either HB1 or US talent. If they move this work offshore to other countries to save money, they should have to pay a huge penalty to do it. I think even if you posted a message on TS that we are looking at that your words would stop companies like Cigna in their tracks from moving forward until they learned more from your administration's policies on it. I would like to see you propose an executive order like "The Great American AI Patriots Jobs Protection ACT" laying out how we are not going to let US corporations outsource Americas data to other countries to re-work it and send it back to the corporations to send to their US clients without penalties.

I would like to see you mention directly if David Cordani (CEO) Brian Evanko (CFO) Kari Stevens (HRVP) this this is a new business model they should sell the Cigna HQ in CT and relocate the HQ to India and stay there. David and the ETL team can sell all their mansions in Simsbury CT and go buy palaces in India.

Please really think this through as I think this will go down as a Major Accomplishment in your legacy and would help the Mid-terms in November and for decades to come in the future. Remembered as first President to protect America's work force from AI development. The day you put a stop to this and standing up to protect the US Patriot work force.

I posted my story TS under my ID "IQ120s" this morning, but the TS admins banned my account for "spamming" under the terms of service section "8".

You might be our only hope, the person with the power to stop this potential AI Great Depression on the horizon and being able to avoid it and save America's work force.

We all knew this would happen

We all said outsourcing to Infosys was a huge mistake and the quality of work will drop drastically. And guess what? Just a few years later, Vanguard is now bringing back some of the outsourced jobs because what we were saying turned out to be true. Still not enough, but it's a start.

Onshore Contractors at Express Scripts by Evernorth

Anyone know if onshore contractors will be let go? Rumor has it all contractor contracts got extended til 3/1 for alignment purposes - is this just a cover story for having them work hard the next month and finish their projects and then they'll be rid of at Express Scripts/Evernorth? I'm working with a few contractors and wondering if they know they'll be let go in a month so won't do their work well the next 4 weeks. That would be awful for our remaining team. And does it also signal that the contractors won't be getting FTE positions in the future anymore?

Pearson Vue is not the same

I was a former employee of 35 years at Pearson Vue. I too was let go on the 12th. I gave all my loyal and dedication to this company for a lot of time. I was mortified when I found out that my job had been eliminated due to it being outsourced to India. This will fail as everything else will fail because everybody is just a $to them. This is not the company that I show loyalty to for all the years so I’m OK with leaving as I did knowing that I put my best effort forward. They let a lot of good people that dedicated all their time to helping Pearson be what it is today. So sad. They were so sneaky about how they did the layoffs. Some people still don’t know the total number of employees who were let go. Most of the people who I am aware of were here 15 plus years.

Incompetent Management

Wireless used to be a great company and I loved working there until the Vodafone buyout. Once the telecom executives got a hold of wireless they started the RIF/outsource/off-shore march. The Telecom side hasn't been profitable for decades so you can downsize as your business shrinks. This strategy does not work for wireless when you're adding 250k-1M customers a quarter. Verizon doesn't know how to run a successful business. The telecom senior management removed all the Wireless execs and proceeded to turn Verizon Wireless into Verizon Telecom which was a death sentence. Verizon has never bought a business that they haven't destroyed with the same failed strategy of RIF/outsource/off-shore. That's the only thing they know and it has never worked. They did the same to YAHOO, American online and countless other acquisitions. As soon as I heard about the Vodafone deal, I said within 10 years, wireless will be ruined and I was right. When I left, I tried to transfer my concession number to my private phone (after approvals). I was totally offline for 4 days and ended up just having my non-concession number restored. Because I recently bought a new phone on a promotion, it was also cancelled as they tried to change my number. Took me another 6 months to get my billing corrected. They RIF'd everyone on the wireless side who knew what they were doing. These id--ts never learn. They keep doing the same thing expecting a different outcome. Sounds like insanity to me. I took a VSP but I feel really bad for the folks still trying to hold on. My advice... if you're under 50 years old take a RIF and find a company that appreciates you. If you're 50 or older, find something first. It's not easy finding a comparable job and salary once you get into your 50's.

every. single. year.

pepsico lays off every year. every. dang. year. at some point they’ll have to cut the overlaid matrix orgs — especially any group with “global” in the name. but this probably isn’t that year. there are still plenty of white-collar u.s. jobs that can be cut and re-assigned to india and mexico.

pepsico is dangerously close to a real brain drain in the american market. most analysts and lower-level management are now abroad — and, frankly, wholly inept — which means there’s no street-level understanding of the u.s. market. you could definately blame christy jacoby and brent crombie for that mess, whether they’ll ever recieve accountability or not.

Marketing Layoffs

Just heard about the reductions over in Marketing. They sent out a new org chart, which I got to see just now. They are getting rid of a lot of senior manager and up, and are expanding offshore support. Anywhere I’ve ever worked that started relying heavily on offshore, has paid the price eventually. If you work at TIAA and are getting a high salary, be very wary. Any of us could be next. Luckily, I’m underpaid for my role so they’ll keep my indentured servitude around for a little longer I bet.

Washtenaw County Layoffs: Trinity Health Outsourcing Leads to Revenue Cycle Job Cuts

  • Trinity Health is cutting jobs within its revenue cycle department. The Livonia-based system will eliminate 10.5% of these positions. This move involves outsourcing many non-patient-facing roles to an external partner. The exact number of affected employees in Washtenaw County is not disclosed. The company cited low reimbursement rates and rising costs as reasons for the changes.

Citi moving jobs overseas

They are laying off everyone in the United States and hiring in all these hubs in Costa Rica, Manila, Mumbai, Warsaw. They are paying the workers for cheap labor. Thats how they are planning to cut expenses yet they are racking in millions by American investors. How are these employees in these countries will be able to communicate and have professional conversations when they will be working with business leaders based out of the US? The government needs to start investigating what is going on and start taxing these big corporations that are shipping American jobs overseas.

Dave D’s Town Hall

TSEP Town Hall. DD talking a lot about “right sizing” and assessing team’s workloads/team members allocated. Also mentioned as a piece of this year’s strategy- GCC 2.0 (global capability center)- where it improves the onboarding and training for ICC employees.

Literally telling us they will lay off US based workers and outsource the job to India. Good luck everybody
