Why do we have both dates mentioned for layoffs? Or will layoffs actually happen on both days? I'm stressed and confused.

For so long this was the rumor. Meanwhile, nothing.

Is anything happening this summer?

Many people on my team in cyber are worried they’re next. Some well loved employees have already been let go and no one feels safe right now! One person told me they think leadership will replace her by moving her role to India. Has anyone heard anything?? They’ve made poor decisions already on who they decided to lay off.

At Western Union, the vibe has changed completely over the past few months. Teams are thinner, expectations are higher, and there’s a lot of silence from management after recent internal emails.

FA managers got the email this morning - start FY26 Performance Evaluations as part of the alignment effort. Manager ratings to be review by leadership. Not stated, but expect a “rack and stack” of employees to be part of the process. Evaluations to be completed by June 26. Is this preparation for the next round of layoffs?

Someone mentioned layoffs in Boston, but there has been no all clear from leadership. Does this mean more Surgical Robotics layoffs are coming in the next few days or weeks?

Idk if can be anyone or it’s a specific department or is it random?

Anything on the horizon ? I presume after March that we are clear until October ?

As soon as the layoff rumors start, I can't sleep. I am consumed with anxiety, I can't focus, I can't stop checking my inbox. How do the rest of you cope with this kind of uncertainty?

Who makes the list? Is it based on performance, salary, tenure, or luck? Which departments are getting hit hardest? Are newer employees safer or more at risk? What's the real business reason behind this? They won't tell us anything, so we're all just guessing and panicking.

I'm trying to prepare myself the best I can. If you've been laid off, what did you notice in the weeks or months before? Did your manager seem distant? Were you left out of meetings? Did your responsibilities shrink without explanation? I'd love to hear any patterns so the rest of us aren't completely blindsided when that meeting invite shows up.

I'm 50-something years old, 20-something years of Ford direct employment, falling under the GRP. Contributory to my pension since the first paycheck I could do so.

I'd go tomorrow if the rules let me retire early, but I'm not quite 55.

Any rumors of early retirement packages?

Don't ask me how. I know we are close and list is ready. Expect 20-40% cuts in few products.

Any chances there are some leftover cuts that could happen?

When u got hired it was a big deal Fidelity wanted us to stay on and it seemed they wanted us happy now I’m worried since I’m just a year a way from fully vested.

With so many different layoff dates being thrown around, I honestly have no idea what’s coming anymore or when. At this point, I can’t even tell whether next week is safe or not.

Whoever said it was the 15th is full of cornfeed lol. The 18th is when it's supposed to go down hard, "apparently."

CSG is gonna be hit fairly hard but sales is supposedly on the chopping block

Somebody asked me if I had heard of any layoffs coming in June yesterday. Since I haven't seen anything posted here I think the answer is no? Has anyone heard anything?
