I am perplexed at the people who are touting that there is going to be a layoff on May 28 and it’s going to be massive. You all really need to stop. There’s always layoffs in departments that are under performing or where there is duplicative work being done, but there has not been a notification to leadership that there is going to be mass layoffs on May 28 so please stop scaring everyone. In the meantime – all of the miserable people that just left to stir sh-t are going to get this 85 negative marks because you’re so focused on the drama and the negativity that you don’t know what else to do then to check this website daily. Do something better with your life.

MD Live Challenges with leaders
Is anyone else struggling with the new leaders in MD Live? It’s toxic and micro management and like I’m not allowed to have an opinion. I’m ready to leave but wish I would be packaged out and offered severance. I tried to bring it up as an option and was dismissed which seems like the current mentality in this area. Anyone else? Or anyone with suggestions? Does anyone know if there will be layoffs?
Heard it will be cloud / sales heavy
As the title suggests, rumor in my dept is it will primarily be people on cloud teams and sales.
Is it happening on May20 for sure?
Or are they announcing in the earning call the layoff plan and it takes place in June?
Layoffs soon?
Some says end of this month.
Layoff next month?
If this is legit as most claims. I’m going to stop showing up in office and wfh
Will there be another layoff
~89,900 total headcount. Seems like DAN need only one person to do all the operation ( Dan - 89,900 ) = DAN so Dan single handlely will work for Verizon and will make customer focused company by being bold. 🌅🌄

Possible mass layoff next year
I verbally heard in a bunch of meetings where Q3 2027 is when contract renewals are going to happen with US and Canadian staffing agencies and given how the CEO and the executives have been rooting for "APAC" (India) and AI. There is a huge chance that they are not going to renew their US and Canada contracts.
Is it still happening on Monday ?
So is it still happening on Monday ?
There are no layoffs this Friday, 5/15
There are no layoffs today. Whatever news is going around is just a rumor.
Layoffs?
Any rumors of additional lay offs coming? Everything happening has me on edge.
My luck might be running out
I've survived eight layoffs over the years, but I've got a bad feeling about the next one. Judging by my manager's behavior that suddenly shifted completely, I think my streak is about to end. I was never as worried about cuts as I am right now.
Who's next?
The rumors are already starting. Which department gets cut next round? And when? Anyone heard anything concrete?
Layoffs?
Any rumors of lay offs happening soon? Specifically GO or GM
Bloodbath after Memorial Day long weekend
Plan your exit now.
What’s the global town hall gonna look like?
Very odd it’s not in May, think they’re cooking the books with the layoffs to make the numbers look good? New CEO announcement? New RTO policy?
May14- Are there fresh round of layoffs today
I m hearing there was another round today .. is it true ?
Press Org June Layoff Rumors?
Heard 10%, what are others hearing?
No notification, no layoff?
Is this one of the rare situation where we can already know that if we didn't get a notification, we're safe?
What's everyone's plan B?
I've been running scenarios in my head for days. If I get laid off next week, what do I do. I have some savings, maybe two or three months worth. I could pick up some consulting work, maybe. My partner does work, but their income alone wouldn't cover everything. We could sell my car, move to a cheaper apartment, ask family for help. But none of those are good options. I'm realizing I'm not as prepared as I thought. So I'm asking genuinely, what's everyone else's plan B? Are you ready for this, or are we all just hoping we'll be spared?
Invites
invites go out today/tonight in the US. Unless you already had a scheduled 1:1 this week with your notifying manager, in which case they should have moved your 1:1 to tomorrow, and you will be notified then.
So danger zone if:
You get a 15-30 minute invite for a 1:1 with your manager or your skip for early tomorrow local time.
You had a 1:1 with your manager this week and they moved it to Thursday with no explanation.
Your skip level (or their boss) schedules a team-wide call (your entire team and possibly your manager is impacted)
Americas notifications are to be wrapped up by COB Thursday. If you don’t hear anything by Thursday COB you are likely safe.
OP is @a7+1krhpzg3b, bumping it for great info.
Volunteer Layoff???
Any idea if they will promote this soon?? I’m putting bare minimum effort and I don’t feel like putting that sh-t anymore.
What is the latest info on corp layoffs?
Everyone in the office is talking about looking at other jobs bc they’re stretched thin. Critical team members openly talk about interviewing elsewhere.
Layoff
Now that the sale has been completed and continued work load being taken off the field force is another layoff of the field in the plans
Next One Is Imminent: I Got The "Would You Volunteer"
question from my manager today, so it's coming soon. JVB org. I was non-committal but am leaning that way.
Notification tests
They are simply kicking tires before the real run. Good luck.
why is it so quiet?
No change means massive change ahead
Amazon Employees Report Role Eliminations
Speculation about Amazon layoffs is growing online. Multiple Reddit posts claim employees received role-elimination emails. These reports originate from various international regions. Amazon has not officially confirmed any new workforce reductions. The company previously denied earlier layoff rumors for May.

Layoff criteria
Do we know what it will be? I'm a relatively new hire, so I'm not sure if that puts me at higher risk. Is it last one in, first one out or performance based or something else entirely?
US layoffs may 31
Any truth to this? Could be legit given end of fiscal and upcoming earnings.
False alarm
Looks like nothing is happening. We live to stress another day.
This week??
I keep seeing things that make me think there will be layoffs this week? Does anyone know anything?
